It’s a really odd scenario here if BM is scum.
There’s no “avoiding the shut out” they got a miselim on DGB.
BM is old-school
concession is not part of our vocabulary

Mathblade joining SirCakez late here looks good (given there was a legitimate choice and Cakez would've been the better elim for town). Although, counter-point, earlier that same day Mathblade abandoned a larger Titus wagon, in the face of wagons on 2 scum, and tried to run up Dunnstral briefly before giving up.In post 2118, penguin_alien wrote:Afternoon Vote Count 1.20

Battle Mage is V/LA until Monday evening
LLD is V/LA.
townpoints for mathblade and Pooky for being early pushers of SirCakez yesterday.
Not a great look for Spiffeh though. Either Spiffeh is scum, or the whole scumteam was running the who-do-i-bus gauntlet. Spiffeh was also pretty ambivalent between SirCakez and Mastina there, and committed to hammer whichever got to -1. A good tactic to guarantee being on the inevitable scum elim and avoid being run up next as a failed counter-wagoner to scum.
And let's say at least 1 more scum on Mastina here, meaning minimum 1 scum within:

if Spiffeh is town, I feel more strongly about 1-2 scum in the mastina voters on Day 1, with the later ones being more likely. So Tammy and Bork.

It depends on how well you back it, but there's just no point: Spiffeh will be nightkilled either way, and you can revisit the question D5 if not.
I'm really disinterested in mafia at the moment and kind of just want out. I'll be around to tryhard after work but I'm just...not interested playing mafia lately and want to do other things. I'll try and finish strong but it is hard.- Prism

Eh...I don't even remember this at all, but this is the 'counter-claim':
To answer the question of would Tammy-scum counterclaim a partner on Day 1, it depends on the situation. In this case, the situation is that a scum-elim was pretty much guaranteed, and the remaining scum had to try and back the right horse. It feels like quite a clever move for Tammy-scum, to try and orchestrate a Cakez-elim and get some extra towncred for the claim (which despite being a PR, is not a strong enough one to require justification of long-term survival through night phases). It makes more sense if the final partner is already on Cakez-wagon at that point though. Only problem with the fakeclaim theory, is it could be confirmable. Has Tammy been able to claim any results which have been independently verified?
The reality of the counter-claim here is slightly different...it's a bit...hesitant and gung-ho at the same time, and doesn't really fit with the narrative of a clever scumploy to control which elim goes through. But I struggle to believe that somebody genuinely unsure about counter-claiming, opens with "I think I have a problem with that claim", which is tantamount to a counter-claim anyway, and then continues to toil over it. Cognitive dissonance or something.
On the context, I need to go back and read the state of play in the lead up. Overall I think it leaves me in a similar place with Tammy as before - could be scum, but not a lock.

I'm not even sure it is a CC; it doesn't feel like we could both be town, but I could be wrong about that.In post 2034, Tammy wrote:Oh fuck it, I have it when people dance around shit and we've got enough claims out there.

I've softed this a few places, and this was why my early game focus was on artifacts and rooting out liars.
A part of me thinks we don't work together on the same side, but maybe we do. This claim was probably dumb, but I figure I fit right in now.Show2020 Stats - 31 completed games:

progression is interesting. Mathblade a possibility? or would Mastina want to protect scumbuddies? Note that Bork and Dunnstral were deliberately moved up to townreads for fairly weak reasons after the initial list - don't think mastina-scum is worried about white-knighting either of them, so potentially just getting them out of the firing line? Probably only 1 though. In post 1669, mastina wrote:Lady Lambdadelta*

There are lots of characters on the show. Surely a gender won’t give it away. I had a reason when I thought it was a soft but if you guess the wrong gender or something like that then the jig is up without exposing Prism in case they’re town.
And outing the negative consequences should be easy enough to do. Why won’t you?- Prism

(I straight up don't get the Tammy guilty given she's a usage detector. bork claimed usage N1+hasn't claimed N2/N3, but N3 trident usage makes sense so the possibility for guilty result is really only seeing bork not use an artifact N1. Usage number of 3 would be a great indicator but not hard guilty)- MathBlade
