so many good players here, i want to see a 'town leader' make a big brain play. otherwise may as well get a bot to play out the remainder.Show2020 Stats - 31 completed games:

I mean I waffle on you/MB/Titus but I've been pretty clear in giving convictions+laying out specifically what is town or scum about each of the slots.
I agree that I've spammed and worked myself into a knot where no matter who is scum I'm just going to go "??? You really thought this was a good idea?"
But Pooky's right, and you can be that 'town leader' if you don't like it being me working myself into a knot or Spiffeh waiting until later tonight to contribute.- Battle Mage

A. I am the prime elim candidate apparently
B. I lack the proficiency
Although I'm fine with being mis-elimmed as my role is pointless and probably needs to be elimmed at some point, I think there's a benefit in trying to elim scum today while there is a greater town majority and given we have loads of voting info which should help break this open with a couple more flips. Flipping Titus would be huge for that reason for instance.Show2020 Stats - 31 completed games:

maybe you should just vote for the player who you think is most likely to be scum, and accept you'll either be right or wrong - rather than seemingly accusing everyone to buy some post-game kudos, only to fall back to the easiest option. Sorry but right now you're not a hero, but I'm hoping if you're town (and who knows) little old me can motivate you to become one.In post 4430, Prism wrote:I mean I appreciated you chipping in last night but right now you're voting a clear while two other players are voting someone who we mechanically should not vote today.

I legitimately think notscience is a perfectly viable alternative elim today, and unequivocally more likely to be scum than me based on play.
just depends if we are playing a game of solving, or a game of auto-piloting/mech-specShow2020 Stats - 31 completed games:

this scenario is why i think these games are allowed to get too long. so many pages and half the playerlist couldn't give a shit, and most of the other half barely remembers what happened.Show2020 Stats - 31 completed games:

Pooky's been bussing the entire game even if he wasn't actually vote Cakez for most of it.
notscience/bork/Cakez were 3 way bussing each other yesterday, every man for himself.
Titus got hardshoved by Cakez/bork for eons and both passed up chances to flip to town slots in order to stay there.
MathBlade is MathBlade and that Day 1 aversion to voting Mastina was horrendous but Day 2 on was shoving Cakez, and had some very crisp interactions w/ Cakez Day 1.
In comparison my towncase for you is sometimes it seemed like Cakez was inviting me to push you. He did the same for bork.
I am absolutely voting the person I think is most likely to flip scum atm even if I flop around for the scumcase on those slots.- Battle Mage

lol yes because BM-scum, who hadn't amassed a tonne of towncred to date, clearly opts to leave the inevitable scum-elim at the last minute without any strong effort to push a counter. In post 4435, Prism wrote:Make the notscience case.
Right now you spent time on the main Day 1 counterwagon and flipped on Cakez at the end of Day 3.
If something is wrong with the play go to bat for it.
i'm not a brilliant scum-player by any stretch but i'm not a kamikaze moron who claims miller for no reason and acts super weird around the scum elim rather than continuing to bus which had apparently been a strategy I was content with earlier. nor do I think I have the character and ego to push the above as a mad gambit in large theme games which seem to be notorious at the moment for elimming people for shit reasons.
If you can't even see that, what is the point in me making a case on anyone? this is really basic stuff.Show2020 Stats - 31 completed games:

this is why i said at the beginning of the day, if you want to policy elim me for my role, fine. But given there have been flashes of some people actually trying today (and yes, appreciate I'm a fine one to talk), I have some slither of optimism that we can do something a bit more intelligent.Show2020 Stats - 31 completed games:

And that starts with you. Any time you want to talk about notscience, we can, but aimlessly berating us for not being good enough while simultaneously crying out "but I'm not good enough to do better!" is baffling.
I have given more than enough for you to engage with, both in collated form and in random snippet form. I just gave you starting points for why the other slots looked town.- Battle Mage

i'm a big believer in the basic mafia principle of elimming the player most likely to be scum. There's zero chance a miller makes it to ELO anyway, but we're a couple days off hopefully. And seeing more flips might help inform town's judgement either way, rather than just going "bleh, BM claimed miller, must be scum".In post 4439, Prism wrote:Well, if you can't case anyone and aren't going to shove your reads, probably don't want to leave you until Elo.Show2020 Stats - 31 completed games:

I think you've become disconnected from reality here. The default position here is me being elimmed. Nobody really has indicated they have a real issue with that, despite there not being a good reason for it and the general consensus seeming to be that I'm probably town but a good policy elim. I've given good reasons for me being town, and you have chosen not to engage with them.In post 4441, Prism wrote:And that starts with you. Remind me again why it would fall to me to case players for you? Seems to me like a big waste of effort trying to persuade you of anything about somebody else, if I can't even get you to engage with something very basic and obvious about myself.Show2020 Stats - 31 completed games:

Like this whole emphasis on good player, town leader, me pursuing kudos, is just bizarre given that I have spent the entire last 3 hours saying "Yeah I dunno my thoughts are all mixed up" and voting whoever I immediately think is scum.
I blatantly do not know the last scum, am very confused, and am more than okay admitting that from the getgo, since this seems to be important to you.
So you can push me, push notscience, or do something else now that I am safely put in my place and not vying for public postgame approval.- PookyTheMagicalBear
