I don't think the hammer was a scum claim tbh peta and I think you have better odds of surviving than mom even with it

the town are weirdly tunnelled and not interested in listening on mom in the same way they were on nacho imo

i mean the sam could be said for my slot but that's because beeboy gonna beeboy

i think bork recognized what i did + i was obviously not trying for several days and that would make explaining my behavior tremendously difficult

i actually typed up reasons for those reads but with nacho MIA + immediately getting shit on it was like, nah fuck it why bother

I think nacho not turning up after repeatedly promising to and the lack of a convincing counter wagon AND deadline pressure made hammering totally justifiable (I was considering putting him at E-1 myself)

and a lot of people aren't trying so I don't think u stand out too much + I think people are kind of forgetting the beeboy thing other than like, notsci

the fact that bork is apparently so transparently scum when scum that he's just impossible to lim as town is very frustrating

this setup is sooooooo frustrating without daytalk and I didn't realize we didn't have daytalk until after the thread had already been locked

asdsadasdasd don't know why you guys were trying to distance from us so hard!!! we're townread by everyone who's town, but yall kept trying to undermine the townreads against us and fighting against a nacho elim. this day could have been over like 30 pages ago, everyone on his initial wagon was town except for our slot but we didn't have any support from you guys. nacho is like, the dream d1 elim here (I mean it's actually bork but we're never getting bork). this was super frustrating for us

@mena without daytalk I honestly wasn't sure if you were upset with me or not :/

a bus tomorrow isn't the worst thing

ultimately like i said, you need 1 other townflip to guarantee 4p. candidates there are bulge/cakez (if people can be convinced i was distancing)/salsabil(????)
and like i said, i tried to weakly defend bulge, cakez idk but bork was suggesting possible s/s and the argument can be made i was trying to make my teammates look good, salsabil i literally flat-out ignored

it's a very tight game obviously and the needle needs to be threaded and that's a big reason i wanted to get nacho flipped

I mean logically I know why distancing it makes sense, it was just like... why throw suspicion on us when you could just elim nacho

nooooooo of course I wasn't, I'm really really really sorry if you thought I was

I was just trying to create strong disassociatives between our slots because I think that while it's important we don't bus it's also very important that we don't look too aligned after I flip so you can endgame

lillith, like i said, my goal was to attack the townbloc and enshrine in people's minds that it is in fact pure and i felt threatened by this. you can use the instances of, like, panic room, divide and conquer as recent games where scum just kind of got boxed in early and were hopeless for finding ways out. that's the effect i was trying to invoke

my initial approach anyway was to make it look like i was appealing to you

@lili my entire mindset has basically been that you need to endgame as the only slot that's really TR as scum, and to do so you need to not have associatives with an y of us who are likely to go down at some point

so my entire approach was to distance from your slot while not actually getting in the way too much with what you were trying to achieve (although I did honestly disagree on doing nacho today vs tomo)

it worked out in the end, I was just worried that bork would get cold feet (which he kind of did) and then decide he didn't want to elim nacho (thankfully he did not do that), and I think this was the only window we had for getting rid of nacho

we desperately need an agreed on plan that we can work with going through the next day + contingency plans for if things start going to shit

at least nobody can drop a guilty or a TPR to save themselves

lilithh is right in that a certain kind of distancing is ludicrously easy to spot and you should, idk, be careful i guess. if vft is the only townread scum are attacking, people will smell a rat

for future reference (idk if I should say this bc it will make catching scum!me easier in future) but I'm much more likely to be abrasive with scum buddies for distancing reasons and I'd say that like 99% of the time there's nothing behind it and it's just because I'm trying to confuse town on flip

I'm hoping skitter will be around to help decide our kill but she might still be having vaccine side effects

I don't really know if killing NM is a good idea anymore because it felt like mom TMIed our push on nacho, and an NM flip might make bork reconsider our slot
