Oh, that?
Simple; I'm autistic.
Being autistic means that I struggle to find the words most people use, so I use ten words to say what others say with two, because my brain is wired in such a way that I literally couldn't think of the two words to say until after I had said the ten, usually by someone pointing out "couldn't you have said those ten words by using just these two?".
There's also a desire to perfectly capture the concept of my thought and translate it into text. If I feel like the concept isn't explained with just one word/sentence even if one word/sentence might be sufficient to get the general idea, I add extras to reinforce the more exact meaning.
That, combined with a desire for literary flow. Even with my autistic ass brain, I can cut out some words here and there but deliberately choose to leave them in--because I made the judgement call that in having done so, the words flow better. Adding in rhymes, adding in alliteration, adding in repetition, where otherwise it would be absent.

Actually I am RIDICULOUSLY good at picking up someone trying to be town without actually BEING town. Like, if scum are trying to look town without being town, I'm almost definitely, like 90+%, going to catch them.
Unfortunately, for whatever reason, scum aren't exclusively among those who try to be town without being town; I will scumread town who I believe were trying to look town without them actually being town.
So my problem isn't reading scum trying to be town as town; my problem is reading town trying to be town as scum.
I'm fairly good at identifying some town that're genuinely BEING town, but unfortunately there are some instances of scum that act in a way that I feel wasn't forced, where they were organic and natural in a way that radiated town energy in spite of them being scum. These instances are fairly rare tho because most scum can't do that, they can either try to be town without being town or don't try to be town and don't look town.
A player able to radiate town without forcing it, without trying to, as scum, is the hallmark of the highest caliber of scum player. That or the sheer dumbest luckiest ones who accidentally manage to achieve the feat while ignorant of having done so.
