I mean, I think we're all just posturing around "look I'm doing something" right now at this phase of the game. I dunno that his is any more egregious than Pooky's shitposting, for example.

As to the second point... can you give an example (practical or theoretical) of what a town response to someone telling you to "Please be town" would look like?

(Re: UT, I would imagine it's because UT sometimes plays Warzone with me and DeathNote and thus doesn't want me to kill his only other friend in the game. Maybe not ONLY other friend, but there's an IRL camaraderie that I assume DN is trading on there.)

Yeah, I guess my thoughts on pooky are I feel like I'll be able to read him at some point because I've played with him before, so I've been largely not addressing that, besides it looks like he is having fun. I don't know deathnote, hence why I asked if thats normal behavior. (I think I asked)

I don't think there is a perfect encapsulating "this is town" response to someone asking "Please be town". Maybe since I don't know them, my guard is up.

What are your thoughts on deathnote? Are you good at reading them?

I don't put much stock in meta, to answer your question, Vax. And my primary experience with DN comes from playing non-mafia things with him. The closest we'd get is Among Us, I think, or some traitor-mechanic board games, but not much mafia experience. I think he's a very eager, earnest player and is also very calm and collected under pressure.
