Not going to stick around and become even more of a prick over time. I think Mena was obvious today, Skitter was surprising less because I like her posting but more because I felt Day 3 was a free win. I get that she wanted to play it safe but eh.

Skitter definitely had a lot of rough spots imo but fooling me specifically isn't the point of the game and she definitely put this team on her back and is carrying it to the mountaintop. Maybe we could have won this in 4 way after I 1v1 Mena but I doubt I force it through over Skitter's objections, and it's a moot point.

IDK, Iverson's playstyle was very not suited for the gamestate and by the time I came around I was determined not to put anymore effort into this game than I had to. I wound up replacing out before I just got extremely vicious on a personal level but I would be lying if I said I wasn't relieved to not be playing mafia anymore period, even an hour of the game a day was just...not something I wanted to do. Dunno what petapan was afraid of with me reading the game though given my towngame is nothing to write home about or be afraid of in any world.

my actual concern was that you'd be the most attuned to see through the shit i was trying to pull with regard to associations on day 1 although i guess you didn't even bother

I don't want to take away from what Skitter accomplished this game, which is quite a lot-and in the end I conceded the game if she was scum-but she was definitely catchable with what she had posted and I think it'd be doing yourself a disservice to phone it in on the basis that her play was perfect minus post 6. This was not true.

I think that you give me too much credit and yourself not enough. I would not classify you as a specifically talented scumplayer but your mastery of the fundamentals are second to none and I wasn't even going to try to read into your associations on the offchance I guessed correctly.

I forgot to answer notscience but that was basically the answer I would have given him.

I mean, if we're talking about the past which is unchangeable, then OK, but that's a rather fatalistic mindset and not something actionable to carry forward with you.

Again skitter has played this incredibly well, outplayed both of us, and it is definitely worth celebrating.

I don't think even a world where my heart was fully in the game and in which I did put in 40 hours rereading the game would change the result, either, though I am apologetic to everyone else that we did not get to see it for its own sake.

also your reads were actually decent and you werent locked into the perspective people who had been in the game from the beginning - people in this game were very stubborn with their reads

I had 2 replacement offers within a half-hour of making the request in the replacement thread. Really happy to see that. Maybe the site activity has picked up some!

They got better over time but a lot of the credit for that goes to Cakez, who is playing the game of his life. I powertunneled every player but Bulge and Kismet at some point-which, while that intentional hyperaggression and attacking mindset over something more nuanced and holistic is a hallmark of the account, the credit definitely comes more from Cakez and I was still not getting skitter anytime soon after she declined to take the win Day 3. I think that not doing so was a mistake, but it's slight at worst, debatably isn't one at all, and I understand why she did so.

She definitely wanted to take the win on day 3, but her team wasn't around for a pile-on while the votes were down.

I think she wins even without the quickhammer by simply telling Kismet she is confident in me and essentially only doing basic maintenance from there.

I don't think splitting hairs over a 99% chance of winning versus a 97% chance is worthwhile, though. Skitter's play and how hard she has carried this is definitely something to celebrate this game.

While I was ready for her to be wrong w/ the assumption VFT was town I also strongly feel that the scumreads on Infinity are criminal.
