Like, I was making a case for Roden to be T3's partner, and I am widely TR (I think) so I feel like they easily could have left him alive. So I guess they were PR hunting?

Scum has to go after potential Masons even if it's just bait. Most likely Mix over Xlos since Mix scum read me.

But if there were PR hunting, why did they not target Xlos/Mix?

I can see the argument for Xlos as the scum partner here. If he were the scum, then he would know 100% that the "mason slip" was not real, and would not need to pr hunt in this pair.

Random is a lame reason to vote for someone IMO. It doesn't really encourage any discussion or have inspire any fear of being lynched. Even the first post of the thread had a reason to vote for someone! So that's my reason to

I'm struggling to make sense of 58. The connection is "not too convincing", making me think Zyla is town.

Twice in 71 he lightly defends me, maybe a White Knight? A scum who defends a townie.

He never, correct me if I'm wrong, never justifies the vote on bulge. He just goes after T3 from there on out.

155 He defends T3 a bit with theories of a T3 town. This post feels really defensive.

In 130 he calls me "mafia-esque" and throws some shade at the bulge. Then he town reads Roden.

131 fluff

156 He defends Roden and susses me. Asks Mix why I'm not sus.

173 This is all a WK of Roden and defense of T3.

174 This is basically a good bye and a note that says "it seems I'm not the only one." that realizes that T3 is going down.

Note Egix votes T3 later, risking whatever suspicion Roden promises, a bit of a shift. But not surprising he said he did most of the analysis later. Overall Egix has town-like behavior. I like his long post cause it's the kind of post I've made when I was town with nice formatting and stuff (though I guess I've never been non town except for one game when I joke claimed scum in my first post and got lynched for it D1. I wasn't scum either though...)

After the game, I'd like to know if this is true. You've never been scum?

It's gut reading man... given that I'm not a mason with T3, I can't imagine why the man doesn't want to say why he thinks anything. It's not like he'll be alive D2 to explain, or like we will gain any insight on what he meant by killing him if he does turns out to be town. Maybe he's just tired.

I explained the quoted post in 131 . I don't understand why the second one makes you think Zyla is town, though? Is a light scum lean equal to a town lean?

Oh come on, you didn't quote the punchline of this post, I thought it was funny Of course the post looks like I think T3 is super town without the punchline.

This post aside, it's true that I wasn't actively going after T3, so I can try to explain my reasoning in more detail. After I read the first two pages of the thread, T3 seemed somewhat suspicious, considering all the points lukewarm make against him and his lackluster responses. But people were digging into his case, and as I don't have that much time to post each day, I figured the others would do a better job of it than me and tried to go for breadth rather than depth, so I tried to look elsewhere for anything that looked fishy. Hence why I was digging into Zyla/Bulge. And as the day progressed, it became more and more obvious that we were just going to kill T3 without any resistance, which is sad. If everyone agrees to kill someone as soon as the thread starts, and then we kill them, it's not really helpful to look back on the next day. Hence why I tried to look at other people, after a certain point, I just considered T3 dead. He was my #1 suspect, too, there just wasn't any point in putting a vote on him. Later in the day, he was just very clearly going to die. If I were mafia, I don't think I would want to be defending someone who was about to flip mafia.

Let's also talk about the last post T3 made that Wayward pointed out:

How condemning this is, of course, depends on how many levels deep you think T3 is at the time. I think that T3 suspected he was slated to die at this point, so giving positive reads to his scum buddy is a pretty daring move.

That said, I'm not positive if T3 thought he was going to die. Since

wasn't a claim that could draw town power out. Though, he did seem to think that he had already found town power

One possible reason that Roden was killed was because his agreement with T3 about me and Zyla being masons were seems a pretty town-power move, maybe he was trying to redirect the nightkill to one of us cause he knows we aren't masons. But maybe not, at the bottom of this post I have another possible reason.

I've given a lot (too much) thought to the idea that T3 and Zyla are evil and T3 pinned her with me for some reason, but it just doesn't seem that reasonable. I won't subject you to too much analysis about this for now, though.

I think that Mix is looking very town due to the time he spent constructing a case against Roden. Why try so hard to build a case against a dead man? Unless mafia didn't know who they were going to kill at that time. But still, I really don't see why mafia Mix would kill Roden. I can see Egix killing Roden very easily, though, since Roden was going very hard against him at the end. And nobody else had that much suspicion on Egix besides Roden.

Consider the other choices: Lukewarm who is as close to confirmed town as it gets, and me/Zyla who are suspected to be town power. I think that, to kill someone else, mafia would need to have something big to gain. And the only person who gains from killing Roden (and gains a lot) is Egix.

Uhh, maybe we shouldn't be this quick to vote someone who might be a mason. Getting E-2 at less than 5 hours in isn't a good thing in this case.

Honestly, I think that that was just to drive confusion, since the general consensus would that you and mix were masons, and throwing me in there as the other could be anywhere from random, to me being his scumpartner, to trying to make me look bad. Most of his posts towards the end seemed to be just to create confusion, so I've just been ignoring them

T3 randomly switched mix for zyla, but there was a whole conversaton about "we should not dig into a crumb" revolved around that post, and then Roden even responded to me end of day that they had to kill one of you.

I think T3 decided to call out the crumb to reaction test, but did not look back to see who you actually crumbed with (because he knew he was getting ready to be hammered and did not want the thread to lock first)
