I'm right there with you, which is why I recommend multiple targets. Even if you're obvious scum won't know which you target if you are even a PR at all.

For instance, if you leave a doctor and a cop crumb, then scum won't know if you're healing or copping someone. You could be crumbing a roleblock as well.

When you flip, the game is still solveable. For instance, the cop is not checking someone who was obvtown at the time. The doc isn't healing someone widely scumread. Crumbing both still gives scum no clue but lets town solve after their death.

I think DW is town. I sorta skimmed and I'm going to reread it but I think the whole "don't claim, roles won't help us figure shit out" is very untrue. I don't really think DGB is scum for it b/c I could see how town that just got burned could think that.

nevermind that i was the first one to engage dwlee and call him scum, my point is way less baking up dgb and ore that the way dwlee chose to engage and turn things into a pedantic argument about how not to play where he could make an "ideal" theoretical point about how "we shouldn't play it like mountainous" that glosses over what dgb is actually trying to say (we should emphasize dayplay and minimize decisions based on mechanical speculation, basic stuff). in the process he steers the conversation toward something non-game-advancing, that is, arguing about "well of course you should consider claims in a normal setup". and when i immediately jump him after that he responds not like someone who has genuine conviction in what he's arguing but cornered scum who doesn't know how to react

The game barely has rails and if it'll help catch scum, why not? I'm ok with a diversion since the game is largely setup spec. It's fine for breaking out of RVS but I want reason based votes.
