basically you feel like ~out of tune~ with this site's meta but i think that can just make you a new player and/or used to a different playing style

Your thoughtfulness here feels good to me. Maybe I'm reading that too early but I've been holding onto something else. Would it be bad practice here to think Cakez is scummy for his vote on me? I'm aware of how OMGUS works, but following his vote all he did was plead to the cleared townie to solve the game for them. It was just so pointless

i don't feel like i have enuf on cakez yet tbh, don't really find what he's done so far to be scummy
i do like lilith's hydra so far tho!

I've played at least one game with every other person on the playerlist. I'd say I'm very familiar with about half of them.

If you aren't an alt, then you might have picked a bad first game to jump into... but we'll do our best to keep things comprehensible. (That, I think, is why lilith wanted to know if you're an alt. Not for our sake, but for yours-- we're definitely going to cut you a lot more slack and be more helpful if you aren't.)
