I tend to get townier with time and with more material to work with. If at some point down the line I feel I have a reasonable shot of having solved the game, it usually becomes clear that I am genuine. In post 320, Infinity 324 wrote:I hope fidget makes more towny posts because there was something else she did that was towny but I don't wanna go through her iso.
Whereas as scum I would say the opposite occurs. As I mentioned earlier my scum playstyle is more akin to bullshitting and seeming surfance level towny which tends to break down late game when actual stances become important. I would also find it hard to replicate the passion that comes from actually having the answer to a game.- Fidget

I skimmed earlier today and it doesn't seem like Fairy was present for that portion of the game where they were E-1. Are you referring to their subsequent reaction afterwards when they only had around 1-2 votes at that point? Or am I mistaken? In post 324, Lukewarm wrote:Fairies was pretty nonchelant about hitting E-1 imo- Fidget

That is more or less the sense I got here when talking to Johnny. In post 324, Lukewarm wrote:I am not sure what led people to town read hectic from the 1v1 with prism. looking at his iso, I feel like all of his responses would make sense as either alignment. I am still unsure what to think about his interaction with me either. So he is null for me.
Gonna look more at this later but got to bounce. I would ask why but I'll need to look at your previous posts probablyIn post 324, Lukewarm wrote:I am still of the opinion that scum!prism would not have gone so hard so early on hectic.- Prism

I'm about to take a nap so this one will be underexplained.
I was suspicious of Fidget's first post on me/Hectic regardless of what Hectic wound up being, which is why I considered moving my vote there. Her response to me, not quite backtracking but accepting my criticism, was quite good and the question became how knowledgeable of a scum player she was, because that post was more of a question of knowledge than of skill.
I feel significantly better about the slot after reading 327, enough to slot her as a townlean, but am a bit confused as to her relationship with Chara's Folly. Her reaction to Hectic's point about my confidence will make either more or less sense depending on her identity.- Prism

Not that I really disagree with a Johnny vote, but what changed you from being "not very optimistic" to feeling comfortable in one page, especially given that it's been less than a day and Johnny hasn't said a thing since? In post 332, Prism wrote:VOTE: Johnny
This is E-1.
I feel comfortable voting here without sorting Hectic, though a part of me is regretful that Johnny is on V/LA.
Wouldn't be opposed to hammering the slot once Johnny gets a defense in if said defense isn't satisfactory, but if anybody hammers before he gets to post again I'd be very suspicious of that player.- Prism

My thinking around the time of 325 was swirling. Something in my mind was that instinctually, I felt it was Johnny+T3 despite T3's vote, but I could also see it being Hectic XOR Fidget & ?, and part of me even wanted that to be the case. I also felt that one of Fidget/Johnny was likely to be scum, but I don't like "one of" assertions like this. I like giving a specific name with a specific alignment.
I wasn't really able to reach a conclusion at the time. This led to me asking "What really are my reads?". The answer was only one with great confidence, which led me to the uncertainty of 325.
I feel significantly better about Fidget, and am very open to being wrong on Hectic though I don't think Johnny-scum would require that. Infinity, while not hardtown, is largely unchanged from how I saw her in Perpetual Melo and perhaps it is worth betting on. Your latest response to me was better on second-pass but I still don't have you as a townread.- Prism

For anyone who might be unfamiliar with XOR, it's "exclusive or" where exactly one of Hectic/Fidget would be scum, rather than "inclusive or" where it could be both.In post 334, Prism wrote:Hectic XOR Fidget & ?- JohnnyFarrar

I mean I'll solve the game as a stump if need be, not sure there's really anything to "defend" here so much as everyone's townreading eachother. I've got a funeral tomorrow so I won't have anythingsuperproductive to say until MondayishPhone posting. Low effort, big fun.

I want Johnny to fight back more so I'm less paranoid
I don't know if scum!johnny would necessarily fight back that much though? I don't have a better scumread, anyway.
Does someone else have a better scumread?

What kind of monster would put town in the middle and scum on the edges? It's top -> bottomIn post 313, Fidget wrote:

I looked over Lukewarm's marathon scum game in the meantime, and tone is a lot less confrontational/confidence than how he just interacted here
Pedit: I think T3 mentioning that is actually more scum-indicative than town-indicative, there's reason to hold that read close to the chest if he thinks there's actually any value to it
People let preemptive reads like that out of the bag all the time, though. Suboptimal play isn't always scummy.
It's coming across like Lukewarm is more likely town here for how comfortable he is, then.
Lukewarm was towny enough to probably eclipse you so I'd have you 3rd there- Prism

The point about my confidence-which I would classify more as willingness to pursue an instantaneous read rather than true confidence-will likely have to wait a bit longer, despite my eagerness to tackle it.
Do you still genuinely believe this? Specifically that it is not just possible but probable that I reuse the strategy, with the defense of reuse as a kind of backup. In post 226, Hectic wrote:I don't think that dissuades you from pushing me again given Folly happened after. I'm not saying this a standard go-to strat of yours, but it's certainly possible scum!you sees it as a valuable investment given past history
If you're saying you wouldn't bring this to my attention as scum, you clearly did with the impression it means you're less likely to do it, and see it as something that helps your case- Hectic

The strategy of hard scumreading me if you think I'm you can get away with it? I think you do if you see the opportunity, I don't think your approach is similar to the way you did in Scumsman btw, there was a lot less interrogation there and more passive pushing, which points to the difference being town, but also means it's not an exact recycle- Hectic

Reading over your posts in the last few pages, I keep reading them while thinking you're town if that makes sense, I'm not sure if that's because I'm assuming you're probably town subconsciously and I'm wrong, or your recent posts are towny, but something something, I have no idea what I'm saying
I find Prism's recent content a lot townier essentially but I dunno if I should abandon previous reasons to scumread her - Hectic
