Not really sure what you're asking; I'm just a little worried that he's upset that he's being pushed for bad reasons (191) but then following 231 he says that he was townreading the slot for making the push period despite 1) not having of really even hinting at that read beforehand and 2) it being somewhat of an underdeveloped take that could just be parroting pooky's meta read that more serves as justification for not engaging earlier rather than being a legitimate read

that said skitter doesn't agree at the moment so we're still syncing on this

I mean we did just get out of a game where scum skitter/lilith pantsed us both. If I didn't share a slot w/ skitter I'd probably personally be very wary of both here (moreso skitter as she was present more and who i was vibing with to my own expense), but I both get to not have to worry about skitter and reliably proxy the lilith read to her (and fwiw, she agrees w/ your take)

But I think my answer is that it's person dependent and I don't know if cakez is the kind of person that carries that kind of baggage game to game or not. It's not really contributing to the way I try to read him.

I'm going through the last game and I do see:

but basically I'm waiting on Lilith to give me some of the usual town pings and I have not gotten any so far so they are sitting in don't like until I see what I want to see

So I do think the argument does have some merit.

I guess my point was I don't necessarily care about the absence of that in a bubble - I care more about the fact that he came back w/ "oh yeah it's cause I was townreading you for pushing me" rather than just "I hadn't gotten there" which would've been ok

I feel like half of the posts I'm reading so far are heavily influenced by meta on the other players and it's making me feel left out.

Do you have any thoughts of your own?

Not too much I'd be willing to commit to but I'll try my best. Limit is the one person I think is just town. A lot of the other people I'm not getting a sense of who they are, rather what they claim. The decisive arguments I want to see instead turn into what seems like bickering mostly.

I think Limit trying to persuade others with their own experience with cakez is the most townie thing in the game so far. Their words really jumped out at me, and it didn't seem like they were just showboating. It was an attempt to understand but also generate reads, which is what I tend to look for.

if you mean am I trying to read your posts to discern your alignment, then I'm always trying to read everyone

if you mean am I going to push you and draw out unproductive arguments to see how you react, I don't think I'm interested in trying that again as a method of reading you given that it led to me having to take a break from the game, so no. you're still a very important slot to read for me, I just don't think it's worth it to put either of us through that again. I'm still trying to figure out how to actually read you properly
