If you were me, faced with someone whose role you don't know and, hypothetically speaking, also announced to you that they would be playing an alternative style, how would you go about establishing this person's alignment without visualizing their train of thought?

I’m seeing the game very similarly to him. Usually when I mindmeld on reads or my view of the gamestate with someone, I tend to think they’re likely town from that and it’s very often the case that I’m right,

You say you don’t understand his reads’ progression but I don’t really follow. Like with me for example, I hadn’t been doing much AI, so he sr me but once I started trying to figure out the game, his read on me changed.

Chara is a decent wagon, though (as Norwegian said above) the npc's suggestion isn't too conclusive to trust.

Ircher is also an equally healthy option.

If you’re referring to his insinuations about the so-called “masonry”, then I agree. I don’t think anyone should put much stock into anything Yin says.

I was kind of worried about you earlier because you seem to pop in only in spurts and you were gone for a while at the start but the more you post/interact the better I'm going to have a feel for your alignment.

Tbh, I probably wouldn't bother Day 1/save it for later when I can use PoE to narrow things down.

That being said, there's still things I could look at. What is the player doing and not doing? Are they acting stronger with regards to certain players over others and why? What is the underlying motivation behind the player's posts? Okay, that last one is a bit tough to evaluate, but it's worth asking nonetheless.

Someone named Datisi in a post and I thought that was a player in the game, I don't know how you compute that I "knew who Datisi was" as in it's an alt of another player in the game.
