I always have a kneejerk cringe to posts earlier than 200 that suggests a townbloc. It usually feels inflated with gusto rather than reason. Justify this.

Scum will almost never kill you. Despite being seen as obvious town you're still very likely to survive to ELO unless you got a powerful PR or by some miracle you read all the scum correctly.
