Idk, I don't think I agree. Like mechanically, it's true that it is generally better to wait before killing a strong pr by day, especially one that can prove itself like yours. At the same time, your slot currently has high scum equity, and it's really hard not to believe that you made the claim solely to buy time.

Again, my advice is to do things. Ydrasse is right that you are playing very reactively here. Take some initiative. Aside from Ydrasse and Tanner, who else do you scum read?

I did not want to hit a townie, is that hard to understand? My handle of the game was too nebulous for me to kill the right player, I'm not going to kill a townie to clear myself, that's counter productive and helps no one. Though I can see why scum-you would want me to do that.

This actually isn't true, but I can buy you believe this. The reason it's a net positive is by the basis of the flip, you become essentially confirmed (outside counterclaims and scum vigs; the latter is very rare) forcing scum to kill you at some point. Forcing scum's hand is always a net benefit.

you had someone hard pushing you all game; if you're the vig you KNOW they are wrong, yeah? they are hard gunning for you. you have a chance to kill someone who is pushing you (and if you are a bad player as you say, you would most likely have the perception that you can be an easy miselim, esp since you said you never survive past d3.)

It's definitely within the realm of believibility that Robert wouldnt shoot n1 as town

if he is unwilling to be leashed tho I'm fine killing him. Leashing him to our collective biggest suspect is by far my preference though

Worth noting that despite Robert's soft day 1, scum ignored him to kill a vt. It could just be because of his scum equity, or it could be because he is scum.

I think it's probably worth giving Robert a shot, but at the same time, I highly doubt he'll be successful in the endeavor. In other words, I'm okay with delaying his fade to Day 3 in the hopes he might clear himself, but I have very little expectation that would actually happen.

To elaborate, I wouldn't expect robert to follow perfectly optimal night play as a less experienced player, plus shooting when u dont know who to shoot isnt very intuitive

Scum don't strictly kill by PR/not PR. They also factor in scum equity; if they think they can get a PR misfaded, they won't kill that slot unless it generates a lot of hard clears. Vig generates at most one clear, so it becomes rather lower priority to kill.
