The first silent star is probably considered bastard by most standards. After all, being told you are a werewolf traitor or whatever when you're really town is a lie that cannot be reasonably anticipated.

All silent star games are ran with the following:

i need to pay attention to my nullzone more either tonight or tomorrow because the more i think abt it i don’t get it being infinity/flea/nakata because like yes i know scum don’t always have plans but infinity was dead on arrival and flea doubled down on mech and nakata is actually wearing a jester cap atp to the point i’m worried he is one because he’s saying the most like... shallow surface level lies that are fact checked within minutes and he has to know that won’t work? like these are very obvious things that are contradictions but like. idk. does he want to die without spewing stuff more by just being so scummy he’s focused on on ? that makes no sense

i kiinda feel like there’s 1 scum in clidd/pooky/chara right now bc they’re not as strong as tweet/amy for me. I will die before i consider tanner scum for the sheer amount of samebrain this game even with the robertflip (i’m gonna be honest by the end i didn’t really believe in him being scum half as much as i did but like i was so upset with his play that i didnt want him to live despite my doubts because for the love of god don’t claim vig ever like that but i shouldn’t say more than this)

This game is so confusing. I really hope there isn't a bunch of scum in the townbloc and the scummy players are all just town players playing oddly cause Silent Star bs. I'm starting to get worried

Robert's play had nothing to do with Silent Star mechanics, and neither did Ircher's, he was just doing something weird. i'm not sure it has anything to do with mechanics at all.

can you talk about your clidd read? i thought his extensive questioning day 1 was pretty fairly but he spent a lot of time trying to move the elim from Infinity iirc.

I'm trying to tell myself that but I'm sufficiently weirded out. But you make a good point, i thought the same thing about those two at some point.

Clidd D1 came across as very towny to me -- that's exactly one of the things i liked, he was inquisitive and solvey to a point where it seemed very believable to me. But i'm definitely gonna focus on him in my reevaluation cause he's dropped off. Also if that's true abt infy that could be important

tbh i don't think any odd play has anything to do with Silent Star weirdness. it seems like it's Yin, Yang, the bomb, and whatever caused the lack of a night/kill. Flea playing in a nonstandard way is nothing new and while i don't townread faer at all the frustrating fixation on mech to the expense of everything else does seem plausible, and less helpful to scum Flea than just trying to hunt would be. like i said fae is capable of it.

Silent Star is infecting ppl to play weird and even if there's no mechanical basis for that i will continue to believe it anyway. Hectic infused extremely potent crazed vibes into the fabric of his game

that said, it does feel like fae is being purposely unhelpful, i don't know what to make of it. refuge in audacity is always a possibility. like, if it's not working, does continuing to push for it actually help? i feel like i keep trying to ask Flea to explain in an understandable way but it's just getting sidestepped because "i'm better at mech than reads".

That's why i find it impossible to understand from either alignment. It's not helpful for town, Flea doesn't seem to budge on it at all despite our attempts. There is no reason you can't focus on mech and play the game, i've been doing it the whole time. You can also focus on mech without letting it control your reads.

Flea going "Ha! See? I'm not a criminal." despite everything we've been saying this entire time might suggest faer town who just isn't reading very much, maybe. That could be a possible explanation, maybe in focusing on the mech they're also ignoring the majority of the scumhunting part of the game. Maybe fae only reads Yin's posts for the most part. Faer posts would reflect this decently

Both Ydrasse and Pooky are extremely confident trs for me in this game.

i agree, it's really unlikely. i specified you and Tweetie because i can't really fathom either of you being scum, Ydrasse i'm not elimming unless it's her and Ircher/Amy/Tweet as alternatives. but realistically i really don't think she's scum, especially after the interaction with Robert and the ensuing posts. i don't think scum Ydrasse goes that route.

Nah Yang just has her love blinders on for Infy

I think Silent Star Lunacy is bastard for having werewolf factions with mafia inside of them probably. I think giving people animal noise post restrictions in Menagerie might also have been bastard. Don't think Royalty was bastard (unless if the useless role names that made us believe they meant something is a form of bastard mod deception)

i'm feeling very good about Tweetie, my read dropped off a little sometime day 2 but she's been pretty much consistently making goodposts even when i was not in 100% agreement with her, the consistency is the big thing because i know scum Tweetie can manage that over the short term.

also i did go look at clidd, i'd be happy to have some feedback on it but he was putting in some effort to towncase Infinity, and day 2 was on Robert and much less charitable towards his slot.

I'm getting the idea that Flea might be town who is just not reading the game. So at least I can see the possibility, Nakata I'm still a lot more confused on. But granted if Nakata is town I'd probably go back to thinking Flea is scum. It's like, it can't be both of them, surely

With regards to Pooky....... im reading thru rn I forgot mostly. The conspiracy paranoia is really good to me lol. I'm not really sure there's anything this game out of Pooky's scumrange though. I know he's not playing with an obvious scum agenda which is good, there are instances where he's done that in the past (Trust Tell i think of) but like, if he were scum with Infy i would have expected him to spearhead Ircher or Nakata more. Instead he mainly just sheeped me on Ircher, i dont recall him adding too much heat to any D1 fires.

Like i dont think Pooky is scum, i really dont want to say he's in the mafia. Maybe he's in the third faction, im sure he'd have no problem playing this way (and gaining the TR from Amy) if his actual win con is something wacky. Idk.

I'm kinda running out of places cause i think im fairly solid on Amy/Ydrasse/Tanner/Ircher not being in the mafia.

Chara is really good today, im not convinced to the level of the first tier because im scared of chara and i technically dont think there's any thing i can point to and go "Yup Chara has to be town cause X." Its takes are just really good

Flea is a vibe im throwing out rn since I'm starting to make sense of faer play as town who isn't reading the majority of the game. Now, why fae can't be scum not reading the game.... uh................... well, could be. It's a really bad game plan when i know Flea is capable of being towny, though
