More to the point, you're used to both heads of this hydra but NOT the combined mindmeld shit that happens when we keep our arms and legs inside the zebra at all times while the ride is in motion.
I felt like me and ffery were able to find each other pretty nicely in the Guardians of the Galaxy game to the point that it felt like we were almost a masonry (even with out own chats in spoiler tags). But the progression we had to get there felt genuine, and my immediate reaction is that your collective opening interactions with me this game felt different from that one, and closer to your (Cabd's) opening interactions with me on that Newbie game.

I am not locking you guys as scum, I am just wary of you right now.
First post of Luke I can actually remember having a reaction to, but this feels like a pretty genuine "how I feel" type of a post.

Unlikely to come from scum

As a reminder, so far it's only been Yumeko posting, this is a joint-effort post where I've given Mary a run-down of what's been happening and they've lightly skimmed some recent content.

Yumeko thinks the game has progressed too fast to where it would usually be hard to get reads, but thinks that, surprisingly, there is still a lot to gleam from this day phase, even though usually this would be a situation where there wouldn't be much to go off of due to an elimination being decided so early.
Mary thinks that townreads are being tossed out too easily considering the game has been mostly centered around scumreads, and believes that tomorrow will be a lot more informative than today can be based on who people push.
Mary reads that are in addition to Yumeko's: Unwnd as towny, Echolocation as slight towny. She thinks that Unwnd feels too comfortable to be mafia right now, and doesn't have much experience with Echolocation to back up the read.
Mary thinks that Luke's recent take, which he essentially says: Morph is not town because he (luke) isn't townreading them yet - is very questionable.

Hey want to know a secret?
Not really. I very much doubt my mind will be changed on this point. Dannflor has to go, preferably sooner rather than later.

I don't care if people want to extend the day to talk a bit more, but people voting elsewhere and starting other wagons are concerning.
Why is that concerning?

I dont think you've made a strong enough argument for scum Dann to be stating that. Like at all.
Bby the time we even had a chance to post in the thread—which was really only a few hours after it opened, mind you—T3 had already slipped up bad enough that they were the designated elimination, I seem to recall a vocal majority saying something along the lines of unvoting to let the day play out more, but the elimination was set, at one point they were at 10/12 votes needed to eliminate. That is to say, there was really no point for us to go in depth on why T3/Dann is scum when everyone had already seemed to figure it out.

You look and see T3 claim Loyal Babysitter, get shut down by another player who claims the mod would not add that role, then have a fit and replace out because their fake claim was dismantled. You go back and look at that sequence of events, and you look at the replace out, and you say that all of it was a "joke", and that Dannflor can be town, and that we need to discuss this more.

The counter-argument for T3 being scum is that his Loyal Babysitter claim which he made when he had 8/12 votes (and intent for a 9th) to eliminate him was a joke he made while town, but that he was still peeved enough to both self vote and replace out.

Yeah... Dann's putting in effort here, but as soon as I saw the above play out, I knew they had to be the elimination today. I was under the impression that the day was even mostly over by the time we had arrived in the thread. That's why it's concerning to see people like you who don't realize that Dannflor is 100% the elimination today, and attempting to start wagons elsewhere. And even thinking that we 'need' to case Dannflor here. I just talked about this for the three-headed deity hydra: It's a failure to think critically and you're not comprehending that game-state. This isn't a smoking bullet for alignment but it does tend to point towards anti-town members, in my experience.

Also, you went right over our in your catchup, where we do indeed talk about why Dannflor needed to be the elimination. we mostly said the same thing we've said here.

I dont think its a set-in-stone elimination whatsoever.

I should probably reread all the T3 shit with some more attention.

So your reasoning is that T3 used their mod-provided fakeclaim and got upset when people called bullshit instead of accepting it as canon?

You would be wrong. And I never said it was a mod-provided fakeclaim.

Here is the sequence of events as I understand them:

-T3 "Slips" (I don't think it was a real slip, but it was scummy and got the ball rolling)
-T3 gets run up to E-2, which then cools down to E-4
-T3 claims Loyal Babysitter while under pressure
-Morph claims that they talked with the mod and Loyal Babysitter wouldn't be a role in this game
-The mod comes in and claims that no information not in signups was given out
-It becomes clear that people aren't going to unvote solely based off of T3's claim
-T3 claims this is unfair, self-votes, and requests replacement
-Dannflor replaces in and claims VT... which may have been perceived as necessary due to the previous claim not getting them out of hot water at all, and maybe thinking that the mod somehow confirmed that loyal babysitter wouldn't be a role

OK.

I think that players who show evidence that they're not critically considering information, but are instead glossing over things, are more likely than average (generally 1 in 4.25) to be non-town.
This is because players who are not thinking critically are instead either blending in and don't want to make the effort to consider everything, or they're demotivated (possibly and often due to alignment, and usually of the non-town variety), they simply don't understand, or they're simply lazy.

From my point of view, it's easy for an anti-town player to see that the game hasn't eliminated Dannflor yet and assume that we're still sort of in an rvs phase of the game (). Or to come up with opinion that don't really make sense to somebody who understands that Dannflor needs to go today (, , ). Or to still think that Dannflor is being voted because T3 "slipped" (, , most posts made by The Resistance).
