This might not be the most accurate given Ceph claiming inactivity, but it's surprising a bit to me that Dann's wagon is still there. I can't say I feel great about these votes on Dann especially in light of my own flip of the read. There's a lot of straggling scum in my opinion who don't want to make any drastic moves. Getting off my own tangent just to say that Ythan actively fighting for Dann looks far better than those who are still passively on him. Something like Kazyan and Vecna maybe? Those are two people I'd place my bets on, Vecna especially. I glanced Manatee liking him and I would need far more than that because Vecna to me fits the concepts I'm talking about and how I would perceive..people not town to behave. Someone who wants to be town by implied motivation, but nothing to show for it. Manatee's defense is shortsighted and I don't see how it absolves Vecna at all. You could basically summarize it as Manatee enjoying the contrarianism Vecna has purportedly done but that means nothing to me. Strong opinions and stances go way farther even if they end up being wrong. I feel like Vecna and the way he plays right now implies that something will come of it. Yet it never does.

...I have an entire draft in our hydra PT i'm working on about how Vecna is the charismatic pick for scum trying to float without engaging enough to get shot and you beat me to it, damn.

this seems pretty angleshooty especially if the game wasn't publicly advertised as such. I think we should take T3's claim as seriously as any other claim given the circumstances.

Doesn't it bother you to be townread so easily? I've seen you get hives for it before. We've yet to even see 20% of Cabd power (Ffery too)...

It bothers me a little to be townread easily, but I also feel like green is oozing out of my fingers all over the keyboard. But, real life is pretty unsettling right now and that may also be oozing onto the keyboard.

The strange thing is that people who should be decent at reading us and somewhat confident they can read us (specifically you and titus) are casting a lot of shade our way. The townreads are coming from players who dont know me well (and I assume don't know Cabd either) or who are alts.

This setup was created in part using a random element. If you find yourself thinking the mod would never make some particular role town or scum, you are probably wrong. This game may have the potential to ignore common setup design maxims. For example, if I rolled a neighborhood composed entirely of members of the same scumteam, I would not have a problem with that, given that I have now warned you about the possibility.

No, I unironically believe it. Scum want to kill the players that are threats to them. Players who are insanely strong as town are inherently threats to them even if the player is scum, because of multiball allowing that player to genuinely scumhunt. Scum do need to kill off certain PRs and spend nightkills there, but they also need to eliminate the players that they,
1: Don't think they'll be caught killing,
2: Don't think will be immune to nightkills,
and,
3: Represent a tangible threat to the scum.

Dannflor, thanks to inheriting a widely scumread slot but being Dannflor, fulfills the criteria for all three. Nobody would be caught dead watching Dannflor, nobody would be caught dead protecting Dannflor, so he's a safe kill to make, and he's a player that, due to being Dannflor, is going to be competent at scumhunting.

I legitimately believe that the town's best use of elimination is for players that the scumteams won't be inclined to eliminate, but who have a high chance of being scum. Because if we eliminate a player that one of the scumteams was going to kill anyway, then we're wasting the elimination, now, aren't we?

Plus, it's not like I'm binning Dannflor permanently in the pile. If neither scumteam wants to kill him in the first few nights, we can reevaluate, reassess, and rethink on a later day given Dannflor's contributions on if we think he's town or scum. But I genuinely believe that on D1, he is a poor elimination here.

Now, read Kakeguri addicts' iso. See the death tunnel by the vocal head. The unwillingness to read anything Dann has produced. Remind you of a certain player/playstyle and a link to an alignment?
