I'm not sure I understand the question. Like I indicated when I started to get a bit cross with people talking themselves out of the PR PoE, inducing a newbie to simply straight up CC immediately and paint a target on their back or else narrowing down the pool of actual town PRs by making people essentially claim VT was the obvious intent of a caught scum!T3 here, and it worked. He knows he is going down, and outting the real PRs and sowing confusion is the best he can do for his buddy on the way out the door. We often see scum fake claim for that reason, but usually on the intent to hammer. I think T3 just felt which way the wind was blowing with your vote and went into it a vote early, since Rodens' post set it up for him.

If you are asking if it's possible schwin is still his scum partner, then yes, I think that is possible, but like I indicated, I've reason to suspect it's catboi too. If schwin is town, then I think T3 calculated they were the slot most likely as town to go along with his Mason claim 'for the lulz', but it was always an outside possibility, and a scum!schwin was never going to claim to be a T3 Mason partner, because T3 is right in that regard - that would have been an autoloss on CC.

Sure, but I would rather do it a little later when I have a mouse and keyboard to lay it out properly; and I also want to give others the chance to earn some town points by picking up the same things I have just on the off-chance I am wrong and the game doesn't end with a T3 + Catboi/Shwinn PoE.

I'm still thinking StD may be scum, you guys keep saying that him posting one liners and such is normal, that doesn't really make him seem townie in my eyes. At best it is NAI.
I would really like them to share reads, especially since if they get Nked we will lose that input forever.

We aren't hammering yet because we can still get meaningful discussion done before the hammer falls.

For #1, I don't really know. Maybe he's trying to fish for other PRs or something.

For #2, there is no reason for a townie to fakeclaim PR.

Yes. T3s play here had some sucess in eliminating slots from the potential PR pool, which means those outside it, including myself and you, are much more likley than normal to get a shiv in the nighttime.

As such, I for one want to make sure my thoughts on the remaining scum are out there prior to hammer, and others may feel the same.

Having obvscum has brought us more time for that discussion, not less, because I think it's very obvious we can hammer T3 at will when it comes time instead of worrying about having to build a concensus and risking a nolim.

They were banking on a newbie with a PR role counterclaiming them, and thus making it obvious who their scumpartner should target for the night kill. Even though that didn't happen exactly, a few slots basically said enough to make it clear they weren't PRs, which narrowed the pool down for them anyway.

I guess I could see wolf T3 lying about a mason chat with me because if we quorum him today and he flips wolf then tomorrow the other wolves could push a misquorum on me by some sort of “well the wolves would never expect you to quorum their made up mason partner!” logic or something, but I think if you then flipped me and saw I was town you’d basically know whoever made that argument was the final wolf

Mainly this post. It seems like a real town player would know that other town players want to discuss the game and elicit insights from other players about their actions.

Well, frankly, I am confused by it. If you aren't sure, and want to consult with teammates, why not do it BEFORE dropping the vote?

I think its your asking of the question "why does a Town!T3 claim mason with me" was perfomative given how quick the vote came after the 'not-mason' claim. Others can make thier own judgements on the matter.
