I don’t mean to snap at you so sorry about that but this game is just such a deeply irritating experience in many ways

From aristeia’s “mena sounds scummy from 3 posts” take, to datisi roleblocking me when it would have generated a clear on hectic if he hadn’t which in turn would have helped me feel a bit better about you, to yes, admittedly, you not doing anything towny and then claiming that that makes you town when it’s clearly a fallacious argument, to dwlee refusing to actually put in the work to try and sort hectic in a meaningful way, to the knowledge that I’ve already accidentally tried harder this game than I wanted to which means that if we don’t win I’ll feel like shit for not getting it correct and that I may well be making all efforts here in vain if it IS as simple as DotW/skitt but I don’t get to feel confident that’s the case because there are a number of slots refusing to be easily read or to do the things that would make them easier to read for reasons that I frankly don’t understand, and I’m being told I have to then take it on faith from other slots that I’m not comfortable with that “nah, it’s chill mena, just don’t worry about it” when I know that with this much setup revealed I’m probably confirmed to scum in terms of role which means that I likely die tonight and then I have no chance to reevaluate things which means I need to be right *today* to be of enduring use

I really just do not feel an urgency to deep dive when it is day three and we are about to get our second scum elimination. I would be more inclined to do that if I felt completely lost in the game and had the desire to do that for this game. Fmpov we are doing fine, other people have almost won the game for me, and we are going to be killing in who I think we should in the next days. If it gets to 3p and we haven't won that's when it is more important to put in all that work, and frankly it's on me at that point and not you. You don't need to hero solve.

Yes, but if the game reaches that point it’s because not enough work was done beforehand or mistakes were made. Everyone actually doing their bit to make sure things are going right is how you insure against that shit happening, and also, guess what! Doing it before you absolutely have to makes it a lot easier to trust that you genuinely want to solve the game and not just look like you want to solve the game, as anyone in 3p lylo should be deeply sceptical of the other two by then, and frankly I don’t want to chance leaving the result of the game down to you or someone else making a 50/50 vote there. I would much rather win beforehand, but we only have 2 mislims left because of the T3 quickhammer which means that after doing skitt it is *necessary* to have successfully PoE’d down to 2 scum with high confidence to guarantee (or as close as possible) the win

That is made a hell of a lot easier if you do things like, yes, going through titanic and ta vera to assess if your reasons to think (atp) that titanic would be more likely town than ta vera are based in a solid foundation or if they’re no better than rand
