I'm also so deep in House's pocket right now I can feel the lint.

P7: Dangit, now I need to figure out if ther was Angel/Rodan Scum Theatre happening here. That was a pretty decent defense, but there's a couple situations where I think Rodan's scum play comes out more aggressively, and it won't be visible D1.

He has made the same fake claim 3 games in a row now (like, same role and everything), so I don't actually think that it is all that AI at this point.

Like scum T3 would 100% make the claim now that he can just point back at the other 2 games.

I think that you misunderstood the point I was making there. I was not trying to defend him there, and was actually trying to dismantle what appeared to be someone starting to town read him for a bad reason.

I'm pretty sure everyone should be able to read him based off of his fake claim by now.

I still would like your thoughts on why you were thinking of voting Angel up until that point.

As for Angel, it was partly to do with my meta history with Noraa. This marks the 5th game in a row together that she said that she thought I am scummy early on, and each time it keeps happening it makes it harder and harder to believe that she is not adjusting the way that she reads me, so post 71 pinged me for that reason.

Then, the way she was asking me for reads felt stilted. Specifically top of post 97. The way she was asking me repeatedly about reads when we were on page 4 of the thread, and half of the players had not even posted yet.

And then, I found this line hard to believe was a genuine thought that they were having:

quite a few slots are already towning themselves up

The moment I saw it, my gut reaction was "this is a manufactured thought," because I had read the entire thread up to that point, and I have no idea who she could have been genuinely referring to.

I did not do a hard look back at it at the time and it was more just that gut reaction, but I am compiled it all to try and show you what I mean. Look at everyone who had posted at that point, and and can you tell me who were the multiple people Angel seemed to think were "towning themselves up"?

Emphasis on skimming but, yeah I see what you mean now. This is not the Nora I recognize. Granted I only played one game with her before so I didn't feel confident trying to meta her, and I don't think it's fair to scum read someone when they're trying to improve their town game, but this looks incredibly condemning. Gonna read more before I come to a decision but even the scum PT seems revealing.

Noraa should try to spam it up in an obv town way anyway and then everyone'll think she's town!

Guillo seemed ready to death tunnel you, and I wasn't vibing with your response. But I think it makes more sense that he was just super sensitive to getting scum read for the wrong reasons, not necessarily because he's actually scum but because he didn't think your reasoning was good. He claimed to be certain you were scum but backed down when questioned more on it, which made me think it was an emotional/pride thing. Basically I do think it's possible to be a fake response but for you both to be town anyway.

What is the purpose of this post? As far as I can tell it's unrelated to any conversation thread and the last time Luke mentioned a T3 scum read was kind of far back.

I cant figure out what you're thinking here. For as much interaction as you have with quite a few people, and for as much as it looks like you're possibly trying to find scum, I was surprised to see you haven't interacted with or commented on RMH, except once in 439, where you softly defend his slot for a really bad reason. It doesn't occur to you that RMH is scum waiting out the pressure and laying low? It occurs to me that this is what's happening and it's your job to redirect the heat.
