Yeah but I was wrong so...Of all tyrannies,a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end they do so with the approval of their own conscience.

In post 1540, Iecerint wrote:It's true that Andres (and I) joined the game to play with Dan. I doubt he would kill Dan if scum in this situation (like, I'd suspect he wants to play with Dan more than he wants to win, even if scum), though he could be on whichever team didn't kill Dan.
And before those:In post 1544, Iecerint wrote:"Simple" seems very weak in this set-up given the flips and claimed roles so far, especially with limited-shot being added.
With the knowledge that the neighborhood exists, I think A50's behavior is null (unless the neighborhood is all town, and then his prior probability of being town is low, anyway). This is because scumA50 would already be aware of the neighborhood and would have the information necessary to play this out.
Note: By partner he meant WW (partner to EJ)In post 1398, Iecerint wrote:Gamma wagon when she was reticent: [Iecerint], cyrus62, Andresvmb, Dunnstral, [nomnomnom]
That would mean the buddy is probably Cyrus or Andres.
Disclaimer: I haven't played with AA in a very long time and don't remember if there's something idiosyncratic about how they play that accounts for their behavior.
So he suspected Andres/cyrus to be WW but also thought Andres wouldn't shoot Dan on N1.
I don't really get 1544, but -at least- it's now a proven fact that if I'm Scum (of either faction) that I was not informed of the Hood via a partner. I dunno if that should make me more likely Town or Scum to him though.

I think if you ISO Kitty you'd get the same read regardless of your Role PM.In post 2200, Dwlee99 wrote:Did everyone but Nero scumread my slot?

nom nom nom nom nom nom nom...
First and foremost I'll include this one for Dwlee's entertainment..
Before that nom was busy defending Dunn and pushing Gamma with a minor mention of a TR on cyrus (this was during a back & forth with HEM, which points to cyrus not being Mafia at the very least)In post 1279, nomnomnom wrote:Feel free to talk to me about other slots I'm curious about how you feel about other slots, especially Kitty and the other lurkier slots in the game

So I guess everyone wanted to flip Dwlee's slot earlier, but I still don't think it the right way to go.
Like, disregarding my own reads and going by what I've just quoted I think neither cyrus nor Nero stand a chance of being Mafia here, while Dwlee is definitely not WW. The only one that can go either way imho is Andres (at first I thought HEM's flip on him meant he can't be Mafia, but while skimming HEM's old games I saw him telling rb to be prepared for bussing, so I dunno anymore)

Okay here's a proposal: there is scum in me/Nero unless A50 and Cyrus have fooled us. If we have killed correctly, then we win by killing ythan. If we have killed incorrectly, we go 2 v 1 v 1, in which case scum are forced to cross kill to prevent drawing with each other, and town wins anyway. Thoughts on killing Nero first?I prefer they, thanks :)- Nero Cain

Dunno, it's been awhile but I mean if we are saying that it's a mechanical solve with both scum being in the hood then it just means it's a dw/ythanOf all tyrannies,a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. If it's just dw/ythan here and we eliminate ythan here then I could get dw for the town win and he knows this.Of all tyrannies,a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. You don't get me tomorrow though is the whole point.
