i'll admit that i'm choosing a weird hill to die on but given my own observations and the fact that the most comprehensive case on him is based on a pattern from past games the townread just stays until i get that reading done

Well, I can buy your explaination at least. Have you explained why you've come to townread him? I can't see anything with a quick scroll through the ISO, and I'm not tunnelled deeply enough not to acknoeldge I might be particularly sensitive given it was might slot that was the target for the behavior I found scummy.

I do, I was waiting on Ythan's answer to the question, but reconsidering his initial response, he probably won't. As for your answer, I kind of want you to explain a little more when you're saying when you mean they didn't play the same when you did a hydra with them. Also, when you mentioned that you thought Salsa was mirroring Dannflor's reads, I'm not sure I entirely agree with that. I noted that Dannflor has reads that are Leaven + SM, and GE + SE, but Salsa had a read that was vote Leaven, and if he is scum I'm his partner. Even then, I read those reads and see them as different reasons that only are mirrored by only the people.

As for Salsa not playing like when we hydra'ed, she seemed way more serious in the hydra game, while here she was fluffing up a storm.

Do you have any prior experiences with Salsa outside of this Hydra? The only time I've really used Pmeta (Player Meta) as a reason to vote someone (not on this website) is that I know their play style so well that it becomes obvious they are scum. For example, one scum made the risky play of townreading their partner, and then I called them out knowing that the first scum makes risky plays on purpose knowing if one of them gets eliminated they lose. And even then it only worked once, and never ever again.

Assume gamma and ythan would vote to save each other. Dann was on gamma, not sure if would vote ythan to save gamma now though. Regardless, this reads that gamma/val needs both strange AND dannflor or ythan/clsr/leaven needs only one of strange OR dann.

if her play was that drastically different, how does that fit in line with her constantly trying to motion people back to her logs, and even past games? wouldn't they notice this large change in behavior? the only explanations i can think of, if she was scum, was that she was completely incapable of replicating their town game and didn't know it, or didn't care
the latter doesn't make sense because of the use of those logs/games in an attempt to disagree with things Leaven was saying (meaning that she was putting her life on the line just to debate,) and the former doesn't make sense because of this:

FYI, it'll be tough to read me based on my newbie games.

while there may be a statistic out there where if someone shifts their playstyle to a point where it's not nearly recognizable in a given game, they're more likely to be scum, but for now I think that Gamma pushed salsabil for at least one reason that actually wasn't alignment indicative

of course, the 'case' on gamma is all things that i'm taking note of at a time when 1) gamma wasn't around and 2) a goon claim from salsa + self hammer was achieved. i'll give gamma the benefit of the doubt here until i get that reread going, which would most likely happen tomorrow. looking back, clark never really pinged me aside from questioning a Ythan unvote from Leaven, which was RVS. could be just that gamma was a victim of circumstance, and i'm looking into a time where GE the replacement was ~2 days into a newbie game and cows is making too many conclusions from that point in time

I'm reading Leavens 592 as "Here are all the people who are, or might vote Ythan now, and here are all the people who are/might vote GE", and concludes that a Ythan lim requires "both strange AND dannflor" and that a GE lim requires "only one of strange OR dann.", on the assumption that CLSR will always vote for GE and not Ythan, and GE/Ythan will vote for the other.

I think the intent is to suggest that it'll be easier to achieve a GE lim today than it would be a Ythan one, and it's odd because...well, Strange is already voting Ythan, no?

In any case, even if Leaven hadn't noticed that, it does ping me slightly that someone is going to the effort of presenting details on which of the two wagons in motion with be easiest to push to a elimination this early in the day, even if the analysis is correct. I'm not sure how it helps - maybe if there was any danger of there not being a concensus and a resulting mislim, but I don't think we are anywhere near that yet.
