Annie I agree that you're town but I was left remiss with our conversation earlier about the topic of We. We being where I was even slightly hinting that I might vote Snarky Fishes and you shut it down by basically saying you were acting for the collective unconscious of town because you yourself thought they were town. This is destructive for D1 and people should vote whoever they want. That's the beauty of D1 and you don't give potential scum a prerogative so early. It's destructive and leads to confirmation bias, and very few people are good enough to have their confirmation bias be completely holistic D1.

I'm not asking for the shard as a slayer's gambit. Getting the shard because I'm obvtown would defeat the purpose. I want the shard to be easier to read, because I'm hard to read in this player list + thread speed.

I'm also going to leverage the fact I'm hard to read by leaning into that and daring scum to wagon me since the PoE is so small.

This is a bad post. Not really understanding the Sleez town reads in general? @notty can you elaborate or point me to where you do so?

On a related note, while I'm not townreading Lukewarm I also don't like Sleez's reasoning for scum reading him which, unless I'm missing a major component, boils down to him being the worst vote on Medea (fine) and not liking that Lukewarm unvoted Medea while they were being run up, which is a very reasonable thing to do early on Day 1? I specifically don't like that she doubles down on it here and here. It feels like an unwarranted attack on Luke just to have something to do.

To be fair I think they have a little back-and-forth coming up that results in her read reversing that I have to dig into but I didn't like her immediate initial confidence there, the punishment doesn't really fit the crime.

With the caveat that if people decline when voted to receive a shard, that should be respected and not seen as an entry point to debate. That gives scum too much info. Let them wonder if it's an already-powered player or someone who's always vanilla or someone with a shit power.
