It's Bell here.
I'm impressed.
Never expected Unwnd to catch us of all the players in this list, but wouldn't you know it.
It was unwnd that caught scum us.
Excellent job.

I'm getting WH13 Mathblade vibes from AA9's recent posts, not the most charismatic player and has a knack for putting their foot in their mouth. Based on what AA9 has presented to the thread I could totally believe that she's a naturally OMGUSy player and the fact that her major scum reads are comprised of people voting her isn't really all that scummy to me. I was initially worried she chose to vote for me over Annie Edison because I am like universally scum read and Annie Edison is a town read for the majority of players, but I actually got town vibes from her response.
While I'm incredibly irritated with ridiculous posts like these and her repeated asking others' for their thoughts about me, I think it stems more from ego and feel like a town player with absolute confidence that she is right rather than malice or opportunism.

I don't do a lot of journaling when I play, except occasionally in night phases as review. I play in the moment and let my thoughts jell in the background until they're ready to dump. "this isn't happening this game"? I disagree. I'm still in data acquisition mode and kinda feeling bad/sad about where I'm scumreading, but I've put plenty of intermediate thoughts into the game so far.In post 1435, unwnd wrote:
Yeah, I don't think I'm getting the initiate experience you have with yourself if that makes sense. You described yourself as a town support player, which makes me think you journal a lot of your thoughts and then post them for others to see. This isn't happening this game and instead I'm only supposed to believe you have Bell to share them with.In post 1432, Snarky Fishes wrote:
I'm not impulsive unless I straight up lose my temper about something. Do you feel like I'm not talking enough about my feelings/motivations?In post 1426, unwnd wrote:I think your paranoia becomes far more of an accessory to the fact you don't act upon your impulses. I don't see you as someone who will snapvote someone, but you do a bit of talking when it comes to your feelings. The hydra could be interferring with that as you have Bell, but I digress
fwiw, although when the medea wagon took off I was too conflicted to kick any wheels off, that's no longer the case. Iwilltake exception to a hypothetical reenactment.
This characterization gives me unpleasant chills. I'm having trouble accepting that you believed what you wrote.
You say you don't want to be AtE'd by someone like Medea then sprinkle in your emotions to this very exchange.
This is where you're going off the rails if you're town. I wanted my read of medea to form as objectively as possible given the subjective and fraught situation. I quelled major misgivings about playing a game with Cabd outside morph.
I feel you are swayed by them, but you know how to stay objective.
I try. the perfect is the enemy of the plenty good enough. And I'm paranoid about misreading town-medea. maybe more so.
There are big enough differences in how you're playing here vs Guardians (and the newbie game for that matter) that even after you confirmed your identity I townread the same stuff I'd been townreading before. That was one trait that was really hard to maneuver against in Fortress, and I'd even say me winning you over was not a matter of you believing my emotions were true, rather you gave up and caved. I could maybe understand if you're worried about that happening again, but the game is far too early to start clenching.
I was in absinthe-mode (working on chronic indecisiveness, and failing hard as it turned out) and playing solo in Guardians. Although I had ~some~ experience with every player in that list (though I didn't know who anastasia or briar were), there was no one I had deep enough experience with to in-thread masonize. Luke was the closest in that respect, although something_smart was the player I had the most game experience with.
Here, on top of the challenges of the game itself, I'm also working out a hydra relationship. We get along and I think things are going to mesh well over time, but our playstyles are really different, especially in terms of how we form reads and sort.
I feel like you know my play better than this. :/
I can ~almost~ see thinking the guardians game is a good yardstick, as opposed to xenoblade II or tenet or nearly normal. You have a lot more experience to draw on than that game.- Snarky Fishes

I don't understand why the onus is on me to read you correctly ffery, meaning that you're trying to talk me out of my vote based on assumed experience. I'm looking at you like any other player in this game, who I just happen to have played previously with. If you were some unknown to me, your wishy-washy behavior would be far more damning than it is now. My own natural impulses tell me to not give you quarter in that retrospectProtect yourself from the back of your mind- Snarky Fishes

Let me try and explain what I mean by that first sentence
Yes it's my job to read you. Hopefully if you're town then I should be townreading you. That's true for myself and probably everyone else. However? To me, you need to put in the effort to be townread. I'm not gonna give you a pass just because I seemingly should know better.Protect yourself from the back of your mind- Snarky Fishes
