What were you supposing wrt to the scum team giving you more shards, after you had already turned demonic?

I was confused. I have not been batting one hundred percent. I was corrected. I supposed only one shard was needed but corrected myself to two shards.

I would hope that I was ingenious enough to con the scumteam into giving me additional shards but I am nowhere near the mental state I would need to pull that off in this playerlist. The risk greatly outweighs the rewards.

At about what point in your iso, did you realize that you actually needed 2 shards?

, they are suggesting they want me in the elimination pool which indirectly suggests I am town.

The only move for them is to argue that I am not an FN to try and eliminate me before I get enough shards to become a demon. It forces them to tunnel me.

If they do decide to demon me

and then roleblock me, then that's resources that aren't spent on our investigates which means they get shots off. Plus, they'd risk being tracked and or watched as I'd be an ideal target for such investigations if they occurred.

The sample mafia role PM has two shards to be demonic. Supposing town need the same amount of shards, two. Verifying with the mod.

PA you have the wrong idea of what I'm saying. I'm a very diplomatic player at heart. I will say things just to get a reaction out of someone or even fake a read or two as town, because sorting things out in the moment is far more beneficial to me than being completely open in a way that scum could anticipate me. Am I wrong to think that players of your type are not somewhat the same? This is the reason I wanted to hydra with your husband because he would understand my attitude towards the game.

So if I'm speaking on this right now, I guess what leaves me cold with your slot is the fact I'm seeing you two be frustratingly open. Your reads come already hashed out which is expected for a hydra but. There are just so many times where I think your husband (not trying to simply do the whole i scumread your husband and not you) seems like he completely got what it means to be subtle. To anticipate and plan, not as an accredit to oneself rather because the thrill is there. You two say things that are very artificial to me and it's hard to adjust to it, because there is always a chance that Cabd is holding back because of you. Your play to me feels off in that sense because the way you determine what you're going to do is reactive instead of learned, wherein you fill in the gaps of information you shouldn't have. You're not here and digesting people in real time. It's sort of the same issue I have with Snarky but with a different angle.

Do I think Snarky/Medea are both detached scum who find it hard to interact with the game? Afraid if they do so then they'll be caught? Not really. I just don't get why we're 2000 pages in and Snarky can't come to terms with how to feel about Medea. I don't know, at some point something has to give. I've thought about Snarky/Medea being scum together but dunno if that fits. I'm not suggesting this either rather it's like. Even if the data is a bit inaccurate or missing something, you could at least take a stab at it.

Unwnd, I've read your post twice and I'm pretty sure I don't know what you're saying as an overall message. Am I not playing how you expect? Is there something you did expect from me? (It's funny, I was just saying to Cabd the other night that while I'll never push you or ask you about your previous username(s) on the site, I suspect you and I clashed under your old persona) I'm also confused as to whether you think I normally play like Cabd does? Because...that's really not the case.

I think it's going to benefit me and Cabd here for us to go our own ways a bit more in thread, a la my solo reads list this morning. He should actually be around tonight. I wish I got more what you're saying here.

Seems like a decent time to toss in that I did find a fifth hydra game from the two of us, Micro 303 (ffery uPick) that was our first hydra game. We were scum and won while living to endgame; it was pretty chaotic but it's a short read (our whole ISO was under 100 posts, LOL 2014). I don't know if that would help or not at this point.

I'm going to plan to take another look at your post when I clear my head from work and such later on tonight. I feel like I almost get what you're saying but not quite.
