My wording is exactly specified as 1 demon or 2 demons. Because Medea claimed they were a demon. Not whether there were 0, 1 or 2 demons.

My reasoning is that shard activity through vote can be a litmus test. I was talking about it as Sleez. If town has no incentive to ever shard then why would there be an open vote. The shard mechanic is not simply there to benefit scum completely, rather it has a risk/reward to it. I'm certain of this knowing my own role and the fact I can distribute out shards.

I'm saying that Unwnd's reasoning for not protesting when Annie was given a shard and then deciding not to give them the power they requested doesn't make sense.
I was aware there was at least *one demon* around and my wording was such, but Unwnd misread and accused me of thinking there were 0 demons day one.

I think there was only one demon day 1, though, because we were at "Low" shard count. So if you think that, it leads to medea-scum from that viewpoint.

If Annie wanted to be a demon (implying our theory on scum self-sharding is true), then there would be no need to get shards. Shard voting is the balance for scum having their own.

That wasn't my post and I think FF was giving my reasoning for me. Though I didn't assume that either. I figured Medea was probably telling the truth about being a demon. I just wasn't sure that they were also a: town. b: there was another demon or not.
Like I said, I don't like making assumptions.
