Well, hiding information like that can be useful to not give information that may benefit scum, but sometimes it’s absolutely necessary to explain otherwise you leave everyone that’s Town with less information. Now about Roden not giving information to scum, was just not needed since Roden was obviously already doing that. Idk that to me can seem like they’re trying to get towncred as scum. I can’t really think of that being something Town says unless for some reason they care about correcting or self conscious about how town thinks about them.

First part is kinda weird, but in a Townie kind of way. I don't think Scum usually would doubt a claim like this due to TMI. So on that part I kinda think this is a Townie post.In post 238, StrangeMatter wrote:

Speaking of which, I saw in your posts you said you were following Lickity’s vote, and to me that’s just…not something I see from Town players. Most Town has votes on the same person if information that points towards scum, not outright saying they’ll just follow votes.
So can you give me a good reason why you’re voting the same person as Lickity?
The question asked is a good one. I generally don't like people sheeping me anyways because it's too much pressure. Ofc Clasko can't know this, but still rubs me the wrong way with the way it went down.I was anything worse than you! Anything worse than you was I!

Kinda wondering what you are going to do with your vote (since you haven't moved it/unvoted yet). Usually standard procedure is to unvote when you sub in unless you like the vote in which case you should say why.In post 252, StrangeMatter wrote:Well, hiding information like that can be useful to not give information that may benefit scum, but sometimes it’s absolutely necessary to explain otherwise you leave everyone that’s Town with less information. I'm quoting both of these here because the first is the only place "green" shows up in Clasko's ISO and it isn't even said by Clasko. And then they decided to sheep me (which I still don't like). In post 216, Clasko wrote:Uhh... In any case, this is the sort of thing I was waiting for from T3 Re: FPS.
So I'd Lean Town on T3 at this point, which makes Clasko's vote look worse actually.I was anything worse than you! Anything worse than you was I!

Okay, I goofed. In Clasko's ISO, the FIRST place green shows up is in Roden's nested quote, but then the last post is where Clasko says it's a green check. This actually erases the TL on T3 because it WASN'T that T3 was doing FPS. So I have T3 as a Null currently. Sometimes I get stuff wrong because I am ADHD so bad, so be patient with me.In post 216, Clasko wrote:Uhh... 1: that’s why there’s the “gives me pause” phrase: I find LQ’s behavior scummy independently. However the wagon is what’s holding me back. It is possible that it is a town-driven wagon, maybe with a bussing partner. So LQ is low on the list but I didn’t move my vote with all that.
2: I liked Roden’s answers to your questioning regarding withholding information. Also liked the post to T3 that was like, “let’s move on from this tracker thing as it’s distracting from scumhunting.”
I think strange's tone feels a bit off, but eh not reading into that too much since i cant read them very well

Fancy Play Syndrom. It's just what we have been talking about with T3 so far. That they do weird plays like gambits and stuff. I know he does this as Town and he's so far been playing pretty straight forward and IDK why.In post 262, HockeyFan wrote:Lickety is still town, what does FPS mean thoI was anything worse than you! I'd probably still vote LQ first. The flail looked townie, but Margot hasn't really done anything to earn scum points from me. Unless she does some real scummy shit before EoD, I'm putting my vote back on LQ.In post 215, Clasko wrote:In post 167, Roden wrote:The wagon on LQ built up a little too fast. I think this slot may actually be scum besdies thier towny ish reads earlierIn post 238, StrangeMatter wrote:So can you give me a good reason why you’re voting the same person as Lickity?
Claiming not Tracker felt like damage limitation as opposed to a straight-up claim, as in, like, one person out of nine doesn't have one of the possible six town-y roles. It probably wasn't the smartest but whatever. In post 253, LicketyQuickety wrote:The question asked is a good one. I generally don't like people sheeping me anyways because it's too much pressure. Ofc Clasko can't know this, but still rubs me the wrong way with the way it went down.
I totally understand how my vote post on T3 can be construed as a slip, but I still maintain his green flip doesn't say much. He's kinda taking a back seat, resting on the laurels of his Tracker plan, or w/e, and using it to give an unfounded locktown on Roden that lacks true justification.
Let me make my feelings on T3 crystal clear - at this moment in time, I neither scum read him nor town read him. I found his idea at the beginning of the thread interesting and not inherently suspicious, so I'm not immediately seeing why Hockey and Margot are using the word 'contradiction' to describe my actions wrt reading them, but to each their own I guess? Prior to my sequence of recent posts, T3 just repeats himself: 'Roden locktown, Hockey locktown, LQ kinda sus won't say why' and unnecessary shade with 'oh Egix is here I guess' yethecomplains of the game being stagnant? It was more a pressure vote to try and get a bit of info out of him, like, if he won't respond to Hockey when he asked him for a reads list in #138 then maybe a vote will help move him, and with LQ initiating that potential wagon, I felt almost compelled to jump on. I felt comfortable shifting my vote from Turtwig because they were actually giving reads and opinions on certain people... y'know, with reasons?
As it stands, I have no scum reads, and will have to look at the thread with a different thinking cap, and if I can't find scummy posts then I'll reduce my PoE by discarding the most towny people and selecting from a pool of null people, which looks like this for me rn: (from most to least null)
{StrangeMatter/T3/Turtwig/Egix96}
Although I'm convincing myself Turt/Egix aren't S/S - even though Egix's vote on Turt wasn't a particularly strong push, I don't think a scum partner immediately brings the other to e-4 to keep them as an elim option? Just an initial thought. So with that in mind I'll keep my vote on T3 as Strange is still catching up. Egix I'm more comfortable with out of the bunch because they took a side with the supposed 'slip' and is actually using their vote.
Margot's gone down in my reads slightly - she didn't yet decide if my post was a slip and has kind of gone quiet, as if she's waiting for the dust to settle before forming an opinion on recent events, but I did see the whole lockdown post thing as reasoning, so.
Roden's still a town read, enforced in my #211, and has overtaken Margot. LQ is still my most non-confirmed - they're looking solve-y wrt my slip and asked relevant follow-ups earlier (unrelated to the slip) in #162 and #178 that gives me good feels.
Spoiler: Sad
P-edit: @Roden Ah... yeah, I don't SR them, but see if you agree with my reasoning for the vote, anyway. In post 265, Roden wrote:I'm finding it hard to believe Clasko slipped like that. I'm not sure how you reached this interpretation. I can understand why town might be suspicious of me from holding information, but trying to continue to push when I'm making it clear doing so is anti-town is just not a good look. Continuously drawing attention to it is not a good look. Trying to shade me into spilling the beans is especially not a good look.In post 252, StrangeMatter wrote:Well, hiding information like that can be useful to not give information that may benefit scum, but sometimes it’s absolutely necessary to explain otherwise you leave everyone that’s Town with less information. Hockey claimed Tracker and isn't getting counterclaimed, so I can only assume they're conftown and because of that I won't scum read them. But anyone else who tries to push this when I keep warning against it is gonna get priority of my vote going forward. Trying to get info out of me or T3 about his plan is just a scum move now.- Roden
