The setup was fully vanilla except for T3's role. I judged, apparently fairly accurately, that the public alignment shifting of players would provide enough of an avenue of additional scumhunting to sufficiently townside the setup.

Mechanically, Jessica/T3 should have gone for the scum outside the 1v1 on D3 and scum should have no killed the last night, but honestly the difference either choice would have made was so small it didn't really matter.



I would like to apologize for the lack of VC's this game. I did intend to mod to my normal standard of checking the thread at least 3 times a day, but I had an accident in the family meaning I spent a bit more time taking people to doctors than I expected.

Particularly the deadline mistake in VC 2.2 actually had a significant impact on the game and nearly had a far greater impact by arbitrarily forcing a scum wagon to appear as a EoD wagon when there was actually most of the dayphase remaining. That is on me, and I'm sorry if it negatively impacted your enjoyment of the game.

I think over all the central mechanic went pretty well, although it's probably best suited for a larger game with a larger scumteam and some amount of town power to encourage engagement. If anyone has setup thoughts I'd be happy to hear them, but I don't think this would be an unreasonable setup to run as a mountainous full open.

Scum misplayed by killing T3 instead of us, allowing T3 to get a confirmed track on Enchant.

T3 is town mvp for fooling scum with his accurate albeit misleading PR claim. Scum should have been more suspicious that he’d outright claim but tbf, I probably would have also been fooled by that as well.

However, I think maybe scum might have had a better shot killing us first.

Ydrasse and gypyx not posting was really really sus. Thor sounded pretty townie and Infinity did initially post-hydra but sounded very obviously scummy near the end. No townie ever is that chill about being the game losing miselim, so it was pretty clear who I was going to vote for after that.

I think both bugspray and Thor tried initially not to be too obvtown, so that their play wouldn’t drastically change if they hydra’d with scum. Infinity otoh, was super obvtown on D1 but couldn’t maintain that level of obvtown presence. I think in this kind of setup, you need to tailor your play with your intentions. Infinity’s dramatic change in WIM which Enchant pointed out, was increasingly obvious as the day went on.

I kind’ve feel bad for Enchant, being the only player not to hydra but it really wouldn’t have made a lot of sense for us to have hydra’d with the slot we tracked and I wanted to be on the winning team, which was clearly town atp.

Gg and I enjoyed this setup. I would play this again.
