Why does it matter? If you're trying to argue that me thinking this should lead to me believing that you're more likely to be town, I'm not so arrogant as to be unable to consider different worlds in which I may not be right. I can scumread Thor but consider a world in which he's town but you're scum. And vice versa. Not all of your scumreads need to be fit together as partners at all times without any flips whatsoever, that would be a wildly ineffective way to play the game.

Did she really waffle though? The way I read it is:

Miss Midnight sees a vote from Thor that she thinks is scummy, she voted there as she doesn’t see why town would do that/how it’s helpful. She’s referred back to the vote as scummy which implies that she thought his actions were scummy?

So about that.
My other head took a break from Mafia a few months ago. He was down to give it another go as a hydra since this is my first game in a while as well, but still doesn't feel like playing.
Guess he might read parts of the game if I ask him to, if there's anything specific y'all want I'll ask.

My other head is Xtoxm. He usually lurks in games - we thought maybe a hydra would help gain more interest to play but it still doesn't.

I have managed to get at least something readable out of you, after a bit of squeezing. And honestly it's like blood from a stone. My big issue with Harvey and Haley rn is WIM telling. Haley being absent is probably the biggest red flag for me here, especially if I assume it's Anya based on Auro's previous interactions with them, and having played with them being absent scum.

Haley is always low pressure D1 and I don't think he's been playing mafia lately. I'm more focused on what Harvey is doing rather than literal absence.

I love mech spec, and if you look at the style of games I play I tend to go for mech heavy or bastard games. Looking at the games I've run (all 2 of them - still need an outside reviewer for the second) you can see I love mech weirdness.

If you want me to get down and dirty in the mech here, I can and I will, but the conclsion is always going to be the same. The human element alone here is enough to throw the spec out of the window.

I can tell you what my options were that I was going to choose from, and few people will actually believe me because of how I approach these games.

I was looking at PGO, Vengeful and Universial Backup. I'm not going to say what I actually selected but I was looking at those as I sent my number in.

Bringing it up to give evidence of the human element, because frankly I ain't a normal human. You look at the list, and think about what you would pick, then compare to what I'd narrowed my options to - bearing in mind even if I was the first to pick, that would be my pool.

I haven't voted for Thor either, my vote is an RVS vote that stuck.
The difference in mechanical information available is the difference here. I was using in-game mechanics as I believed them at the time. Thor has gone as far as the game setup is not randomised but arbitrarily picked, and now as far as pagetop counts. The setup rand I can forgive, I saw that as a legitimate mistake. If it turns out I know the player behind the alt, that could change. Going on pagetops and out of game mechanics is considerably different to what I was doing.

What do you think of my vote on you? Or the worst's? Are those materially different from Gamma's vote?

Not much, really. Which sounds dismissive, but from what I've seen so far it seems like every vote on me is mostly just an extension of that phase from earlier where everyone was hopping on wagons mostly just to hop on them and see if it would build any sort of pressure. I'm not actually sure if anyone voting me except Thor actually scumreads me. Don't think anyone including Thor has actually given any reasons. I sort of get the motivation though. Beneath the outer layer of this mysterious, enigmatic and incredibly stylish player lies the true, sensitive heart of a poet. So it makes sense to want to try to see deeper.

Don't think the votes on me and Gamma's vote have anything to do with each other. The fact that you even ask makes me think I probably still have explained what I was trying to say there worse than I could have.
