I’ve seen Mastina be wrong about reads before, i just don’t equate that with: "omg BoP! They scum!".
Also i’ve correctly read them in almost every single game i’ve had with them so i trust myself to be able to see it if they were of the mafia allignment. And so far i don’t believe it is so.

Also the supposed "mindless tunnels" you refer to were really convincing cases and i feel like Mastina truly believed in them.

because the scumcase on bingle was absolutely godawful, imho someone having the thought is one thing, but someone repeatedly putting it out despite it making zero sense, refusing to reevaluate despite the whole game screaming how the case is utter nonsense, and then bingle flipping town is like, willful ignorance

If Mastina’s case was so garbage why would she push it with conviction? Mastina is an player that can only fully push when they believe what they are saying. You’re not looking at the deeper subconcious level but only assuming surface level= case bad which means Mastina scum.

The case was "scumslip" and "meta." Ffs it was completely atrocious. I pointed out that the scum slip was actually a townslip and mastina just didn't engage me on it or reeval ever. She would come back every other day pushing the same awful case

that's the point, i don't believe her conviction was real - scum!her could be pushing it because being tunnelled on a single town player is a great way to look busy as scum, and everyone will go "haha that's mastina"
