All I know is that it works like a commute but staying commuted for unforeseen amount of phases, including the day phase. So I won't even flip. I'm just gonna be yeeted.
Have you actively confirmed that it affects the counts needed for votes, though?
And yeah what dunn said, claiming this was probably a bad idea!

from what ive seen when someone faked smthn about invests before on a townie, the townie got more like.. motivated to go after someone, since they think somebodies lied.
im concerned why you didn't get that same motivation i usually see.
"wouldn't you be concerned if you knew your town, and somebodies saying you came up as guilty?" tis my thought process.
i did not expect u to be caught up,
i expected u to be more concerned here about motivations. (whether its kate bishops, or unwnds)

Yeah no let's fucking not and say we didn't. A lot of negative util players have claimed, as it is there's a beacon pointing at the unclaimed as positive util...

The thought crossed my mind, but nah.
Yeah I'm against massclaiming.
I was just gonna troll until the eventual shock, but I realized that it is possible that a random death can happen given the nature of the claimed so far and if we mislim both we're going straight to the MeLo D2.
So I kinda wanted to give ppl warning to take today's eliminations more seriously.

Like I said at the time, my gut reaction was that it never happened, and that notty was just trying to see how I would respond.
My second thought was that maybe unwnd really did fake it because he was suspicious of me earlier, also to see how I would respond.
Like, I have already said these things?
I guess I am just not sure what you are talking about.

My second thought was "huh.. would unwnd fake a day guilty on met since we had a little scuffle earlier, and then I dipped the thread for like 36 hours?" and yeah, I kind of think that he might have to try and see how I would respond / if it would have gotten me to start posting again. Like checking to see if I was really gone or if I was lurking. --- which lead to the thought that if he did that, he is probably still town. So posted that too
Do you think that I should have immediately scum read notty for it? Or immediately scum read unwnd? Like, what do you mean?
I feel like you are trying to draw a parallel to our last newbie game, where T3 faked a guilty on me, and I assumed that made him scum... but like, this is a very different situation...
For starters, I never saw someone claim to have a result on me. I saw one person say that someone else had a result. And a day result at that. So yeah, my first thought went to "notty is bullshitting right now"
Instead of "I am not going to let someone get away with faking a guilty because that is actually some bullshit"

And like, to really highlight the difference. T3 basically said "I am hard claiming an investigative role with a guilty on Lukewarm, everyone vote Luke warm with me"
And notty basically said "someone else has claimed a daycop guilty on you. how does that make you feel?"
So, like. I hope you can see why my reactions would be different.

I feel like I am talking at you, and you are not hearing me....
Those were my initial thoughts???
Like, my first thought was "that never happened" and "notty is bullshitting right now" -- which, I don't think needs any more digging then that? he just wanted to see me respond to it. And it could not be too serious, because he said it knowing that I was getting ready to read the thread and see that it never actually happened...
And then my second thought was "wait, maybe unwnd did say that" and then "why would he say that?" which my answer was that he had scum read me earlier, and then I dipped for a while. So maybe he was lurk testing me.
Yes, my brain ran through those questions, but both lines of thought ended with "I don't really need to dig into this" and "I can go back to catching up" and "
maybe
I will need to actually address it if I do reach a point where unwnd really did claim this" (and, by the way, I never saw that in my catch up.

And I completely disagree on this and the only reason why it would look like town is because they are both genuine in their conversation. Except that the back-and-forth was due to miscommunication. Of course they will both sound genuine regardless of their alignment.
upon much thought you're probably right about this, though im still inclined the weird soft is more likely to come from town then scum. overall its like maybe one peg down on my lukewarm TR
