When is this sabotage ability available for them to use? There are several conceivable configurations (Anytime, prior to event publicly announced, prior to event beginning after player selection, variations by event, etc.)

I am especially curious if the first event is open to sabotage at all.

Even if Stage 1 is sabotagable, I would think it ill advised to waste 1 of 2 sabotages on the first event while town is discombobulated. Sabotages seem like something scum would use to either capitalize on town errors or course correct a scum mishap.

I'd guess the first event is less likely to be sabotaged than the rest of the game.
