Anyway, are you asserting was the
start
of you suspecting me? I have problems with it regardless, but the severity of them depends.

Peta’s kinda felt reactive
Prism’s desire to be acquitted was a little skeevy and his reaction to being sussed was to claim joke which while technically valid doesn’t negate what actual tangible game thoughts he displayed with his joke
Ydrasse trying to jump in on the pockit fun felt a little overwrought
it feels like ur trying to frame this more from like, the perspective of validating pooky instead of stuff /you/ believe in even though you're able 2 espouse these reasons
ok, do you think this post and the posts after it feel like genuine sorting or is it a scum "gotcha"
Upon some thought, I don't like
Gamma
or
Ydrasse
in that interaction.

Gamma
supports
Pooky's
scumreads, and while that's the basis of
"
Pooky
reads are too good to be true"
, but why does he go after
Pooky
and not the solve that he agrees with, first? Meaning, why doubtcast 3 players only to say the 4th is supposedly the person who prompted this?

Peta
being like
"oh, that makes sense"
is also weird, lmao, especially since his vote is still on
Cakez
which I presume is serious.

But then again, why does
Ydrasse
sus a partner with almost no prompt?

Actually, why doesn't
Ydrasse
point a finger at
Pooky
for a solve that would be so opposed to her viewpoint of the game? So I can see the
"gotcha"
argument, but like the pressure she places on
Gamma
.

I believe you're referring to my reaction to you. "Not trying to sway me" meant not trying to sway me you were town, not that you were trying to sway me to take any specific action. If you're referring to my presented motivation regarding wanting either unilateral action or out of the game entirely, I previously forced exactly that scenario on page 1 out of tilt, and later voted to concede the same game as town. I have alluded to similar as town.

My reacting with sheer disgust at bad reasoning and play is not an attractive quality of mine but is nothing new.
Oh. That makes more sense. OK, trust is being built here.
so you don't like me for voicing the exact thoughts you said here ??????? because that's more or less what i'm doing, let alone getting gamma to the point where he admits *why* he scumreads me/prism/peta

i don't care about what pooky says early game throwing out a solve like that and he probably knows that (ily pooky soryr)
Fair point here. My post was not meant to come off as accusatory as it did.

UNVOTE:

I'll concede to the thread consensus about how to approach an elimination. I'm surprised only one person bit my wagon, and under the idea of trusting me.

I'll have this typed up and ready to go before you even say anything.

I started by checking the game late at night and made a few posts on my phone right before bed. I say as such in my opener.. No careful attention was paid to players at this time.

When I next check in on the game, ulyana has already spent a page or two discussing my comment about trial/acquittal. The rabbit hole of tilt begins and I spend all of my energy on this, because it immediately leaps out to me as a waste of time and better to end immediately. Very little careful attention was paid to players at this time, and it gets worse as ulyana persists, Infinity fails to calm me down, and you make one of the worst speculations I have seen about how defendants wanting to be acquitted is internalized guilt I only get madder, am not really sorting, and this was not out of my expectations at any rate.

From here, my next steps where I actually step back, say forget about the ulyana/post 25 dialogue, and start sorting were given previously:
In post 544, Prism wrote:You can clearly see in my ISO when I calmed down and started revisiting the game more rationally. 196 I start by responding to ulyana's question for me about other players. I follow this up by revisiting the mechanics and asking Morning an important question we had overlooked.

Again a bit later I decide to really chew on people's reactions to me. The first was Cephir. You were next. I immediately pointed out my problems with skimming your ISO, had a dialogue with peta on one post, and investigated it further.
I look forward to seeing the issues in this progression.

Probably scummy and not the same rigorously competitive mindset I am known for.

Ball's in your court. There's an issue with me only suspecting you in 277 as opposed to earlier/later so teach me that I'm the one who needs to learn a thing or two about how to play scum.

"extended" is an adjective referring to your behavior of touching bases rather than the length of my observation. This was not only the start, 29, 125 but later into the Pooky interaction in 275, which others took different issue with.

So your issue with me boils down to how I’m interacting with certain slots
That’s just how I am, so this feels like at best you’ve taken my play style as a sure sign I’m scum. Sheesh.

And I don’t think I can really get everyone to vote you out over me but I beg everyone to not overlook how much machismo Prism is trying to exude in this interaction with me. She is the epitome of r/iamverybadass imo.

I have given 3 different reasons to scumread you, with the reaction to me being a cherry on top.

You have asserted that I am pushing you as scum in bad faith and that my read does not line up. You could not show the latter. The former you seem to have abandoned in favor of a critique that I'm playing too seriously and aggressively in the hopes that others do not follow for personality reasons.

Rereading this it looks like you're still clinging to the bad faith assertion.

You have seen many of my games. This "machismo" and overaggression is exactly what I do, game after game after game, when I have a scumread. I sincerely hope this is not the first time you have noticed it in the event I am wrong and you are town.

I'll take a step back and let others play the game, and potentially let Gamma breathe for a moment if he's town and prevent making this labyrinthine and inaccessible if he is scum.

To say I am unconvinced is an understatement though, I strongly want to flip him.

Don't punish the playerlist either. Your posts are informative but dense. I want a concise POV on your progression from
"give me the chair"

It’s also a really convenient thing to do as scum where “I AM SO CERTAIN OF THIS READ AND I AM GOING TO PUT MY WHOLE WEIGHT INTO PUSHING IT!”.

Also, to go straight off the deep end logic-wise, your little post link paper trails reinforce the idea that you’re overly self-conscious.
And I never was saying just wanting an acquittal was scummy, to finally go back to that. It was an idea, potentially ill-formed, that you had some thinking that an acquittal had lasting tangible benefit.
