I don't see why eliminating LLD makes the most sense here. So here's what I think, if I target and Yukari docs LLD, sure they could kill me if they were ascentic (which I don't think exists) and if I do get no result and a kill does happen then we eliminate them.

Right. So then they protect Norwee and hope that LLD's protection is legitimate no?

I feel like the most likely here though to really be a scum claiming is Yukari (Doctor when we don't know the roles can be an easy scum claim). Actually thinking about it it can be similar if we play this with or without doctor. LLD is (what we assume) as a bulletproof role, and Norwee today can say who they target for this night and confirm them or catch scum of Gamma and Sanae, who don't have actions this night if I'm correct about this.

The main difference here though is that Norwee could die yet we'd still have the same amount of confirmed with one more if we don't do this.

SM and Yukari target Norwee (takes care of the corner case of factional scum multitasking; Yukari should ALWAYS target wherever SM does to negate chance for a double kill)

The only alternative that exists is SM+Yukari target the OTHER of Me/Sanae that Norwee does not target.

Nope, staying on Reg and SM should be on Reg.
With LLD gone it falls to me to keep conftowns alive and force Norwee to think twice about delaying me and risk Reg and SM double kill.
