fwiw i think this would be quite bad townplay to continue down this path after radio buzz.
Could you expand on this?
I also see you read skitter as town, do you see her approach to you as different from that game?

honestly it probably wasn't great play in the first place to expect skitter to always read me correctly, but especially now that i know she doesn't. skitter is a very strong scum player, and i don't have the tools to confidently read her at this stage of the game. it's probably best practice to wait until later on to read her, after we know whether she's been pushing town or scum and have more pieces of the gamestate. (this is what menalque does and he knows her really well). since we don't know if scum can kill this might be a bit more difficult than normal but i think it's fine still
i don't really think it's useful to compare her approach that game to this game since my play is so different.
@galron is there anything i can do to help you get more engaged? honestly not much has happened so far, the main event has been gamma acting erratically and getting scumread for it, and lashing out at prism for confidently pushing him.

It was just bad timing as far as the game start goes, and I'm not comofrtable with just super-skimming the last couple of days. I just need to sit and read.
i hesitate a little on gamma because of the explicit reference to acting out of spite, which i'm not sure is the angle he takes as scum. also just, kind of feels like he'd be the expected day 1 vote here.

I think that's fair. I also think you would feel somewhat obligated to try and replicate the way you reacted in that game to her suspicions if you were paid, so your relative nonchalance here is probably indicative of no money in your pockets.
I also see Gamma as vastly different in that show, mostly in tone. His tone comes across as very inquisitive and relaxed in that game, while he feels more erratic and on edge here. Perhaps because there's money on the line and he could get the sack?

this does a pretty good job of explaining why i scumread gamma
I've felt increasingly good about how Taly has interacted with the game. He used the space in a universally beneficial way and has done a bit of digging. I guess less follow-up than I'd like on things like the links but this is splitting hairs.
Pooky I townread a lot of how he's approached the game mechanically. I do wonder if he's just letting me throw but I'll figure it out with flips on the table.
I don’t think that’s really a strong reason to SR me
Circumstances are pretty different between that game and this one. That game I had more immediate direction because a) I was in the middle of adopting a more gut-reliant playstyle and b) the radio messages provided a point of “objective” analysis
Here I basically had nothing to anchor myself early, so I didn’t have a good idea of how I wanted to play
We're falling through space, you and me, clinging to the skin of this tiny little world, and if we let go...That's who I am.
Has anyone talked about the sabotage ability? I could see scum not fighting to get chaired if they can just change it up. But I guess the timing of the sabotage makes that an issue. So really we need to get someone to E-1 I'm thinking to see what happens. Since it's a 2-shot ability, it seems to me we should get them to use both shots early-game.
Found these and would love to hear if there are any others+any justification for them
As for why I TR those 3, Taly I’ve noticed has felt flat as scum recently and her play this game is very not-flat
Infinity and skitter both seem to be showing the right thought processes I’d expect for them as town

Yes, the biggest barrier right now is that we do not know when it has to be used.
The fact that the game started with the event voting
immediately after confirmation phase, which scum cannot be expected to make a decision in the middle of
, suggests to me that scum does not have to decide prior to the voting but sometime either during voting or after selection.
