Sigh I really wish I had been around to tell Gamma to stop, before Prism had repped out.
Maybe I was wrong to not force replace since Gamma's continued posts about it were also, really bad for the game
I don't like to take drastic action when it's not completely clear it needs to be taken. I do not think Gamma was intending to hurt Prism, I'm sure that is agreed upon, but he did and it was particularly harmful and he isn't learning
I feel like I let the playerlist down on that- Morning Tweet

heh, the reason i dont let others besides the king talk during event #2 at the start is I do not want their decision leashed. It needs to be on them at least to some extent. In post 947, Gamma Emerald wrote:

Hopefully people don't hate that mechanic- Morning Tweet

The chair of execution nominates an executioner with a killing ability, the killing ability being what helps you get the stagehandsIn post 1191, Galron wrote:
This makes me think the Chair affects the entire scum team. Or the Chair is going to make other appearances. Surely the Chair wouldn't be the only way to "deal with them." I don’t make that same immediate association, probably because of Mysterious Benedict Society and the Whisperer

It could be that the death is by lethal injection.
The restraints are also a means of misdirection, sort of like the broken glass in the box in that one saw trap where Hoffman kills Strahm- Morning Tweet

Scum suspects that sabotage in game 2 might be reversing the guilty/inno. I don't hate my players that much. The sabotage is to block the executioner's pick then kill someone of your choice. Executioner then picks again. Good kill tool, good wifom tool
i ALWAYS want the person voted up on game 1 to be elimable. It would be frustrating as fuck if you couldn't kill them, no?- Morning Tweet

sabotage message format. Edit the rules in the VCs with the pink colour, if necessary. Maybe obfuscate. Maybe strike-through.
Lock thread. Do Final VC with blocked kill. Do flavour with sabotaged kill. Show sabotaged death. Do new VC with the rules changed in pink. Continue playing
After a period of consideration, the executioner makes their choice.
"Ah, PookyTheMagicalBear! Yes, of course! Off we go, then..!"
The crowd roars. The executioner shakes their head and voices protest amidst the din, but it's too late. The host already has her back turned.
Game Over!
POOKYTHEMAGICALBEAR
[/font]Ran out of Stuffing
"Off With Your Head!"
IT'S SABOTAGE!
PookyTheMagicalBear was executed, seemingly by mistake.
ExecuteName is still alive.
The executioner must select a new player to execute, and it cannot be the same as their first selection.
The game will proceed normally afterwards.

"Off With Your Head!"
For now, only the Executioner, Gamma Emerald, may speak.
They have an additional forty-eight hours to choose a new Noble to lose their head. That Noble is killed, but not yet flipped.
ExecuteName may not be chosen to be executed!
Then, the surviving Nobles have forty-eight hours to discuss and vote whether toExecuteorSparethe Executioner.
The Executioner may continue to speak during this time. The dead Nobles may not. All flips will only occur after the second vote ends.
If a town-aligned Executioner is spared, there is an undisclosed benefit for town in the following game. You will not learn if this occurs.
Executioner:Gamma Emerald
With 1 executioner deliberating, it is up to them who will live, and who will die. If no decision is made, the player voted last by the Executioner is chosen.
The deadline for this decision is in:time[/mech]
One of the scum likes my design for this event! Time will tell if town hates it or not.
It's a scum nightkill and town elimination with the order reversed...... sort of? It's also potentially a double elimination. It depends
The next event will let you get rid of people if this event prevents you from the one you want.Last edited by Morning Tweet on Thu Oct 07, 2021 8:43 am, edited 1 time in total.- Morning Tweet

Actually the noble might have just gotten to dictate the next decision. I could have had their last words published AFTER the vote, thoughIn post 215, Morning Tweet wrote:I should have let Nobles get "last words" upon being executed. Positive reactions from Pooky and the scumteam to the game's theming so far.. im so happy!
For clarification, DaTacoX designed the image for the OP, as well as the images above the flavour. I paint.net'd up the images aside each votecount, as well as did the defacing magenta scribbling wherever you see that (Such as over the op/flavour images and over the death avatars). very grateful for his help on those things as im pretty useless at graphic design in general- Morning Tweet

By the way, the sabotage is preemptive. It's a bit less powerful than peta thinks -- let's say there's town on the stand. The sabotage has to be activated before the executioner votes. So scum may not know exactly who it's going to blockIn post 1775, petapan wrote:
sabotage there is optimal regardless of the target's alignment (and it is INCREDIBLY annoying to think about) but irrelevant i'm looking purely in terms of day 1In post 1770, SirCakez wrote:Galron looks bad but my worry is that scum are bamboozling us and it's just a red herring
But when paired with a scum on the stand, it can be a little more deadly. Only problem is, you've got scum who was eliminated D1 and is currently facing a trial to die or not, so it's a little more warranted that the power is better.- Morning Tweet

This is more or less the smartest play since yeah it's good for scum blocking a scum death and it's good saving a LHFIn post 1784, SirCakez wrote:Ok I'm just gonna ignore the sabotage then because of huge WIFOM
Really that's just like a normal game when scum whiteknights LHF to save them for a future elim versus piles on LHF
The most informational thing is probably that scum felt the need to use one of their sabotages this early in the game when the obvtown haven't even come out yet. That implies they were getting huge value. Is saving Galron in order to die on the next phase huge value? Getting a perceived crucial night kill, making Gamma look good, making Galron look bad, all in one play, now that all adds up
This is a little rough for town -- next event is a double elimination where only one elimed dies. Scum can trade one for one nightkill if they please.
Next one is another elimination -- scum can do a nightkill if they want but it's two NKs attached to two potential elims so thats info
The fifth game is extremely good for town
Sixth game also extremely good for town assuming there is scum at the bottom of the totem pole (if not, it's quite bad)- Morning Tweet
