It was one way to achieve it. It was also fun and new to me. N_M does it, Clemency does it. Why not me?In post 184, redtea wrote:and you found that voting yourself, a typically scummy tactic, would be the best way to achieve thisIn post 177, Deimos27 wrote:I believed that voting myself created a favourable vote distribution by tying the leading wagons. More briefly, I was hoping to incentivise someone to vote me (or N_M) and break the tie in an informative manner.
More briefly still, I also found it funny and fun.
I've given you my town motivation. Why don't you describe to me what the scum!Deimos motivation would have been? I've heard it said e.g. that self-voting denies the town information of where I would've used my vote otherwise, but I've used my vote liberally in addition to the brief self-vote. Self-voting as part of an elimination wagon is obviously playing against wincon as town, but I was obviously never staying on that wagon until my elimination.
Scum maybe gets some vague wifom town points, depending entirely on which level of wifom you decide to analyse me to. That's all I can think of.
