The screen goes black. Nothing happens for what feels like the longest time. You hear a voice in the distance. It sounds like that Mr. Rogers fellow from before, but its so faint you can't truly be sure.

"YOU FOOLS. YOU ABSOLUTE FUCKING FOOLS. WHAT THE FUCK IS WRONG WITH HUMANS."

The screen flickers and changes into a video of a cowboy riding a turtle. A door opens in a shed at the end of the block and you all stare at it, not sure what to expect. A small robot comes out of it and starts trundling over to the crowd. When it approaches the first of you a door opens up in the side and a little mechanical arm pops out, complete with what appears to be a plastic hand covered in a white surgical glove. The robot proceeds to slap every one of you in the face before turning around and retreating back to its shed. The door slowly closes behind it.

Eventually, at 9:47 am you hear a click, and the doors open, allowing everyone out into the street.

"Hello, yes. Sorry. I was taking a shit. Carry on."

The large television screen flickers and the name Lady Lambdadelta scrolls across it, followed by the words Vanilla Townie.

The screen flickers again and is replaced with the following

oh i mean yeah its probably a lot more protown to push your reads confidently in general if you think theyre right, but that doesnt mean i dont feel like my reads so far have been bad.

Doesn't matter to me. You can win games purely by being townie and leaving scum out of the picture. A lot of people are not being townie or are even afraid to. What am I supposed to believe then?

i dont really think that concern applies to anyone, and its more likely that people were a little drained on D2 because of gamma's claim and us being uncertain over what we were even doing with the day.
feels kind of similar to the problems in our game in team mafia where its like.. we're not even really playing mafia right now because we're navigating claim stuff instead of game stuff?

its probably wrong to just want to hope that gamma is town and can give us a gamebreaking result here but that kind of feels like what the game is right now, for better or for worse.

This is maybe a forced play for an unwnd + The Worst team (TW's arm was basically twisted into protecting the cop yesterday), so you'd set up unwnd to go down? It would make sense with unwnd distancing from duckie if unwnd flipped red, but I know unwnd is pretty good at distancing so it's hard to speculate here

This makes the most sense in a scum!Gamma world, though, where Gamma just took the free day of not worrying about the protective and just shot someone

I buy this. Navigating claim stuff feels like a different game than the "squint at an ISO and listen to your gut" challenge (very hard).
