Gamma was not guaranteed to die on daystart -- I believe that immediately killing Queen greatly increases the odds that he does. He attempted to reason with her, from the sounds of his posting, and expressed a townread.

However, she was not cooperating, and when this happened he gave up the fight.

That... feels a lot more likely someone who is vaguely hopeful to reason another person and talk them out of a read, for whatever reason. IDK. The narrative makes more sense to me this way.

Gamma had bleak odds, but there are still odds. So, you slap him together with someone who has these suspicions. It looks better than outright KILLING someone.

He makes his little effort to see if she'll talk it out, see if he can change her mind for the better of his team.

He can't, she is not cooperating. So he goes "okay kill me" to shut off that voice before it can say much more.

This case doesn't actually make sense cuz he accepted her love and let her talk and voted Pooky with her.

Which is like the exact opposite of "killing someone to shut them up"


Now look at what Queen's iso from D1 is,
