The idea behind this event is that changing minds of the opposition is valued more greatly than the opinions of those who already agree with you. The teams are comprised of separate wagons from the previous phase for that reason -- they are more likely to having competing views of the game

Oh boy and they did! Ulyana was considered highly town in one and highly suspect in the other, for example

unfortunately pink didn't really... come together.. at all. But we'll see how that affects the game!

In hindsight maybe could have made the ballot results revealed publicly but that would make things quite a bit trickier for scum. As it is, if you can convince 1-2 townies, then the rest of the scum on that team are free to rock the vote and betray

I don't think scum has the power to secretly influence the outcome against their real reads without raising serious questions -- you'd need multiple scum on the same team for it to work, assuming all the town vote together

(and if multiple scum betray then that reveals there is multiple scum on a particular team which can be really devastating for the single elimination scum gets for it. These arent NK targets these are elims, of course!)

Depends on the person but in general it's a scalp

Things get unpleasant, people push inactivity, and people don't give you the light of day because they're scum or think you are. I think those are natural. It's unpleasant if the accusations are untrue, and aggressively right even if they are, but fundamentally they're about the play rather than the player.

I'm a biased, though, both because I consider peta one of my few friends onsite and because while I tend to have hard "do not touch categories" ex. gender, in general I play extremely dirty as scum and think it is fair game to make the game extremely unfun for players.

I don't think peta's intent was to attack Saber personally, and rather, he wanted to attack their play viciously.

However, to Saber (and to me I could easily see how) it came off as insulting them personally so I do think it is important to consider how your posts will be received, even if you do not intend them one way
