I've only ever heard town make this statement. And I've had this statement made to me several times.

I think Peta’s town but I was in a game where scum did do that but that’s irrelevant here, since that player was through the roof scummy and Peta isn’t.

so scum won when we all got voted out basically (the first two elims this mechanic was hidden so it was two people trying to be really scummy, the second half it was voting out the towniest people because town /won/ by voting out town)
