scum!Strange is playing the role of being very vocal against the whole scum trying to rush D1 but hasn't been proactively doing anything which i find kind of incongruent. i think that pings me because it feels like his adamance against players like pooky who are memeing is theatre either with a scumbuddy or just to look town. if cows goes through i think this play is like some sort of hedge about being scum being spread out among the gamestate or whatever.

in fact the differences between this town game and the (hypothetical) two scum games is a lot, and are relatively recent (all of these are in a 5 month period)

Let me go from last to start:

YES, I am TOWN here.

Now ask anyone who has played 5+ games with me and they will tell you that I am indeed a better player towards the end of the game. Info + mechanics help me solve much much more than gut and feel.

This game is NOT A CONVENTIONAL GAME. There are NO MECHANICS TO BE REVEALED. There will be no "interactions", no VCA.. etc. It's a meme. literally a guessing game. I don't believe I will have better reads if I last longer, because the one who will explode is most likely a TOWN PLAYER, so theor choice doesn't give me any additional info (except for theirs and their target's flip). Like, let's say I could explode now and I choose to target X (feel free to replace X with the player of your choice). I flip green and X flips (again, consider both cases). Now what does that tell you about Y & Z?

I mostly agree with you, except for this last part. The entire reason this game and this first day are dragging out is because of the one element of the mechanic designed to keep the game from being pure meme madness: looking at who votes where and with whom on this first day is just about the only thing that can guide us beyond gutfeels when we start going boom.

Those associatives may or may not be good, but they are the only "hard" evidence there will be in this game
