I didn't originally like that he was being lazy, and not wanting to read back.

It to me, strikes me that he 'knows' who's town so doesn't really need to look for any clues who could be what.

I know majority of the early talk is just random, but you can still find something to work on, to try work out who could be town, or possibly scum.
