Uhhhhh it wouldn't be a bad scumgame by any means but my instinct is that if peta is scum there are likely several strategic errors bordering on disasters? I'd have to reread the game but I find it hard to believe that shoving Saber before replace-out was a good call.

He can have spurts of extremely high WIM but it definitely flags, like the end of FGO. This game would be a rectification.

He is very strategic and positional as a player and this can be seen in virtually every scum PT he's a part of.

I'll just wait and see what he thinks about the game rather than provide critique more based off of what I had for dinner tonight as opposed to anything centered in actual game content, he'll be a lot more selfcritical than I would be anyway.

Regardless of whether he's scum this game or not he should be a repeat DC, no question.

One of the things most striking about the way peta plays scum is that he's probably more manipulative of his partners in the PT than he is towards any of the town players. FGO you can see the tension between needing them to succeed, understanding that and trying a variety of tricks to push them to do so, with immediate frustrated vitriol coming out the moment their failure is made permanent and immutable.

While he would have stumbled into luxury with the double replaceouts, that entire slot being called "irredeemable" is an example of what happens when he fails to inspire the motivation and play he wants from his partners.

nightless versus nightkill setups are completely different imo in terms of how hard you go towards obvtowning yourself versus keeping yourself reasonably towards the middle in the totem pole

this game you can go all the way right and still not deal with questions like "um how is this dude still alive"

The issue is much more complex than the level of towncred ascribed as a result of a bus, and the scenario you're describing already comes with built-in counterbalances to where a widely townread scum can easily be less potent than two middling scum players. I would revisit your ladder idea from Trust Fall if you really want to explore this.

I don't think it even has to get that far, as I instinctually doubt that the town credit was worth the bus even with your scenario, but I will demur for lack of knowledge beyond Day 1.

At the end of the day I trust peta's judgement. If he doesn't think there were severe strategic errors at the end of the game than I will readily believe it.
