This still doesn't answer how or if I really did prevent a Saber nom. It was just reasoning gave for not being on the Saber vote. And nobody else but Infinitt in the PT was too interested in Saber nom.

I've operated w the assumption scum didn't want one of their own in the chair
so taly's assertion that they genuinely wanted galron in it kinda doesn't strike me as logical? I think it's more likely that if galron were scum the pressure there was never meant to put him into the chair
however thinking back the fact that I never had a key moment where I was like "yup galron is town for this one post" was probably a sign that he was actually scum after all

in your post you said that skitter wanted Saber. in literally the post after Infinity also said that they wanted saber. the other post is you asking why Toog was willing to sheep you/skitter despite you two not agreeing on things.

it sounds like you had plenty of influence in the Pink thread and then wound up doing absolutely jackshit with it by ending the phase not voting so that skitter could ultimately get peta nominated instead.

because scum eliminating other scum is ultimately bad for their faction, whereas setting it up so that skitter attacks/distances and the other scumbuddy comes in with a disagreement so that they don't ACTUALLY kill each other is in fact a much better strategy.

like obv you're going to disagree with my perspective on this but I feel like the reasoning I'm coming from is pretty clear.

heya, i've skimmed the past 20 pages.

i think until/unless we have good reason to believe the chair is anything but a flip, we should just treat it as such.

gamma's tilt itself i don't really find scummy and can see coming from either alignment from him. but i don't like that his thought process doesn't really seem to match his actions, there were a few different instance of him calling people scummy but choosing someone else to vote (like choosing to vote pooky over pooky's solve that he agreed with, etc). also he was a shining beacon of towniness in radio buzz and i'm kinda wondering where that's gone and what's different here.

i also find infinity and dwlee suspicious. infinity feels weirdly stilted and kinda floating on the edge of things in a way that's reminiscent of her scumgame, and i think that if gamma is scum infinity is a viable partner.
dwlee is leaning too hard on the 'i have no idea what's going on here' bit.
(also ydra feels kinda off but i'd feel a little bad poking there too much atm so uh just gonna wait and see if her wim comes back soon-ish as it isn't a Critical part of the game just yet).
