Hence, I don't understand how the line of questioning actually helps you sort Pav, it feels like busywork at best and at worst potentially trying to stir up "issues" with Pav that you can then use to push him.

Explicitly, I agree that questioning on this aspect doesn't help sort Pav. I'm just trying to muddy the fuck out of any signaling attempts because for fuck's sake people, scum not being able to guess what each other are thinking is one of town's primary advantages in this setup.

This is the perfect example of the kind of weird I expect from Scum!Salsa.

For example, Salsa voted someone multiple times without actually voting someone else in the game I played with them where they were Scum. So this sort of counting posts to get to page top is right in line with the same kind of weirdness IMO.

I would also go as far as to say that if we should flip GL, and he turns town, that would be scum indicative on Bingle given the recent shade. But I also kinda don't think GL is likely to get flipped. A NK'd GL would be another story.

maybe I'm missing the obvious, but I really don't see this original post as signaling. It was Salsa's repeated questioning on why Pav said this that prompted all further NK analysis and discussion. All I see in this post is just a caveat that if I (GL) were to die at night, Pav's logic wouldn't apply. Possibly some of the confusion is over Pav using the word "flip" to mean "eliminate via town vote majority"

idk if i really believe the pav posts are signalling (might reread them later to see if i can work out how, hypothetically, they might work as a signal — that said, nobody who thinks they do know should explicitly spell the mechanics of it out), but i see the argument for treating these posts as signalling as such regardless of discernable intent. i would like to add that my general memory of pav's posting is that it's often been pretty low-content, but im on mobile rn.
