The non-lovers part of it was the best imo, it added a unique twist to the typical dance game. I think that shapes should know their power and colours should know their modifier. I think possibly an interesting dynamic might be to vote a slot to both be unpaired and have their alignment revealed. I don’t know how that would affect balance though of maybe have the scumteam decide that?

Maybe, you can make it more challenging by making each Colour a Backup modifier and each Shape a Universal Backup. Then, during Pregame, each player sends you three modifiers (as a Colour) or three power roles (as a Shape). You randomly select one of the three that they submit as their modifier or power, and ensure that your selection is Valid. After this happens, you give them their alignments. This makes things more challenging because everybody knows what they might be which lets Mafia scheme.

I think the tone I used with Gamma post-game was somewhat condescending and I could have made my various posts without doing that, so I apologize for that.

Another thing I forgot to mention was that how extremely suboptimal it would even be for two scum to pair together here. Scum wants as much info as possible over the various powers and would do their utmost to try to avoid that if possible.
