I'm Oberon's Flower. I make people fall in love. 'Twas I who loverized Galron and Icebox. I had a good scumread on Galron and I was nullish at best on Icebox after d1 (townier since then!). Several of you expressed that loverizing seemed like a scum ability; maybe it usually is (this is my first game with the mechanic), but this time it isn't. I had an ability and didn't want to die with it in my pocket. I do not know why they subsequently fell out of love, but something must have happened to nullify it because my ability was still "spent".

I can loverize again if the opportunity arises for me to repurchase the ability, but it hasn't come up yet, so I'm a vanilla townie right now. As such I do make sense as an elimination target, as until something unforeseen happens, I can't add any intel or affect the game in any meaningful way. I can think of one pair I'm curious to loverize if given the chance, but who knows if that'll happen or if you will let me live that long.

Anyway, watch the vote counts. There is opportunism afoot.

OK, I went back through the game and read every flipped player's card. Everyone had a potion they could buy to be able to use an ability again, or break a condition of the ability. I don't believe Pav when he says he hasn't had the opportunity to purchase another loverizer spell. Wisdom did not have a lover potion. Pav saying the chance to buy another lover shot hasn't come up doesn't make sense.

Without quoting, my role PM says under circumstances of which you do not know, the ability will become available for purchase again. A potion to make this possible is never mentioned.

I realize this doesn't help my cause but them's the breaks. I literally have no idea what the circumstances would have been, and am extremely doubtful it could even happen again at this point.

I guess it *could* happen at twilight since the neighborhood only opened at dawn, but who knows

Would it even make sense to loverize anybody at this point? I guess if I hit scum + town and the town player got limmed scum would die too leaving a sole town winner, no?

If this is the case, though, why would scum!Bowser have been able to loverize last night? Like if us being neighborized gave him that ability and gave me a chance to rebuy my ability, why would he get his right away and I had to wait a full day?

But if this ISN'T the case then where the hell did the other loverize come from??
