Like i swear to god. I see this argument out of u every hour in every game I ever play. its like on cue. I have never seen anyone use this kind of argument or any argument frankly to proclaim their alignment as much as you do with this and its kind of like I could write a book on how to play mafia as nancy and it would just give me simple prompts on when someone calls me scum to say they either A) can't read me or B) are scum, because they should be able to read me.

there's so much in there that's just like, "this feels genuine", "this was an interesting post", "advice here was appreciated", "mindmeld with this", etc. It feels like something he'd write if he just went through ISOs and needed to comment on posts. What's missing for me is any real underlying thought process in the vein of "I think this is likely to be town because [x]", looking for scum agenda in what people are doing, any sort of skepticism or uncertainty. Hence it feels fake, I don't see a mind that has incentive to correctly evaluate alignments behind any of his reasoning there.

What I want to do now is actually sit down with a RH9 town game and see if this is how he always feels or if the fake feeling is more unique to this game

No it’s not, I nailed two scum d1 and 3 in Pokemon and many other games. Taly’s IC, are you arguing that somehow adversely impacts his reads because I don’t think so.

And it doesn’t need to be universal, though that helps because if I am universally tr and I endgame in most games, it probably means I’m tr scum. That’s what happened in Xyzzy’s game. Scum were never targeting me because I tr the entire team.

If I’m continuously fighting off srs, it makes it extremely difficult not to focus on that. It’s not a coincidence either that more people are tr me now because I feel freer to try to solve now that I don’t think I’m likely being run up anymore. I’m also rarely obvtown right out of the gate. In Beefster’s game, I almost got miselimed in the span of two hours only to be pretty much everyone’s consensus tr for the remainder of that game. And you should know this too if you can remember nsg’s newspaper game where I was put at E-2 almost immediately and I got the bs she’s completely over reacting to being sr thing.

is right in my experience. Being universally townread makes a game much harder to solve and I'm very well accustomed to how that feels.

Slaughter Hour... Among Us... half my towngames on this site and proportionally higher ratio of my large themes.

Being IC is different because EVERYBODY is informed about me, so discerning this very difficult perspective shift is irrelevant as it does nothing.

I might try to imitate this behavior as scum too but I don't think it comes off as sincere.

Because I cannot discern who actually townreads me VS who knows that I am town. Instinctively the first question I would otherwise have to help determine I'd someone is informed is if they know I am town.

It's why I read reverse so quickly and strongly in games. I no longer know if I'm entirely scumsiding by taking a player in good faith or if my tunnel is what scum wants because it's never a clear agenda of theirs to work against someone who is borderline mislimmable.

If I endgame in these games, I've lost simply because of how paranoid the final players have gotten to me, Slaughter Hour is the most recent example.

It sucks and it's enough to get me to consider flaking.

I haven't been a huge fan of Shiro's content, especially this post. People said they townread catboi (including my illustrious predecessor, though I don't know how serious that was), is that a meta read? My experience with scum-catboi is that he's pretty slippery and hard to identify.

Like I said I would do a dual ISO dive but they're both recent replacements so I doubt I'd get anything
