another thing is, scum's wincon isn't "win the gate", it's "win 2/3". it did occur to me that if imaginality is scum, this game is probably deeply deeply fucked because why else is he here?

I mean the easy answer to this is that the game is easy and pav is scum and i'm town and they couldn't swap gate and imag thought that 1v1ing vp was more winnable than 1v1ing tanner.

Thinking about the first part of 971 about the Keep.

I think it's not a difficult read to make that I am never scum with VPB here.

Both scum and town Imag have a very strong reason to believe that I'm town here and want my game flipped prior to Gate as me flipping town would help them in their 1v1 vs Baltar.

What's strange is why even bother to analyze the differences between Lukewarm/Pavo. If you know I'm town, just hard push for voting for me in Keep or push for flipping VpB and using his flip to flip me in Keep. I don't see the need to really look at the difference between Luke/Pavo.

I'd like it better I guess if he simply said that Ari is never mafia here and we should flip her but he's not always going to think like me.

How does swapping Pav and implo "help me fulfil my desire?" You seem to be talking to Implo like he is town, so from your pov that means we were at :

Scum!luke, Ari, Implo at the Keep and scum!numberQ, toog, pav at the Wall.

Why not swap toog over pav? In popcorn Toog had me as his top town read and pav read me as scum? And pav acts paranoid of me in every game since my scum newbie game. And then Pav would have been the miselim bait at the wall

@Luke re bravado, isn't it less risky to be consistent with that approach (either way) as scum than to vary it? Starting off high bravado and then switching approach might be seen as scum trying to find an angle that works. Especially in this scenario where VP knows if he were town he'd have 100% certainty I'm scum, so he knows it doesn't make sense for a theoretical town!VP to be inconsistent?

I was more saying that if it was being faked, and I would have assumed that it was put on in the moment. And would have been less likely to keep showing up consistently in his approach.

But if it were Genuine Town Thoughts, then it would be a consistent way of thinking about the game.

But again, him being aware of the fact that he was posting that way makes it weird all over again. If he is scum, I think that 1194 and 1195 were a misplay on his part, and he should have just let me get there on my own. Which I literally was in the middle of getting there as he typed it lol
